Chapter 29

Persephone's POV

"I want you bare beneath me." These were the first words leaving his luscious mouth. My lips parted with arousal as I peered up at him through my eyelashes.

"Come here Persephone." The way my name rolled off his tongue made a surge of emotions flow in me... his emotions, his love, utter affection for me, the yearning he had... and I was sure he could feel mine similarly, the safety I felt around him was incomparable.

I placed my palm in his comparatively big and calloused ones without thinking twice. He pulled me up with his phenomenal strength, holding onto my thighs as my legs wrapped around his waist.

Our lips were centimeter apart and eyes clashing wildly. I wanted him, wanted each and every being of Universe to know whom I belonged to. That who owned Persephone... mind, body and soul.

He searched my face with an unknown emotion, like he was trying to figure out the biggest mystery of his life.
