"Are you ready to start getting that power under control?" Lady Death asks, ready to begin at any moment.

"Uh... Yeah sure." Tom says, breaking from his earlier shock.

"Alright, come at me with all you have. We'll fight until you can get yourself under control." She holds her arms open, waiting for Tom to make the first move.

"Okay, here I come." Tom says as he kicks off the ground, launching himself towards his deathly servant.

As he appears in front of Lady Death, Tom pulls back his fist and strikes her square on the jaw.

The sound of the impact matched the noise of thunder clapping, but Lady Death didn't budge a single inch. Her head tilted to the side slightly as she looked at her master with an impressed expression.

"Wow, it's been a long while since anyone has hit me with that amount of force." She says with a nod of recognition towards her master. "Very impressive, Master."

Even knowing that Lady Death is legitimately impressed and recognizes his strength, Tom feels as though he's being looked down on and belittled in this situation.

Pushing that feeling away, as he knows it's just his misconception, Tom winds back his leg and kicks towards Lady Deaths' ribs.

After giving Tom his free hit, Lady Death didn't see a need for him to get another one. Moving faster than the eye could see, Lady Death moves her hand to the side and catches Tom's leg by the shin.

"Ugh, I feel like this was a bad idea..." Tom mutters as Lady Death smiles seductively and backhands him across the face.

The impact made the same thunder clap as Toms first strike, except hers actually sent him flying across the open field and into a line of black trees.

"Ow, that hurt." Tom says as he climbs out of the torn down trees and brushes himself off.

'Would you like my assistance, Master?' Arthur asks Tom telepathically.

'Yeah, you got any other powers except the sword?' Tom asks, not wanting to use the god-killing sword against Lady Death, as he's only trying to get his strength under control at the moment.

'Hmm, Maybe? One second.' Arthur says, unsure of his current powers.

Suddenly, two black wings emerge from Toms back, shocking him for a brief second.

'Wow, that's interesting. Can I fly now?' Tom asks Arthur through their bond.

'I think so? I'm sorry Master, but I'm still tying to get used to this as well.' Arthur answers as best as he can.

"Alright, let's try it out then." Tom muttered as he tried moving his wings.

As his wings flapped downward, Tom shot into the air faster than a rocket into space.

"AHHH!" Tom screamed as he shot upwards at hypersonic and possibly faster-than-light speed.

When he started slowing down hundreds of miles above ground, Lady Death appeared beside him with a questioning look on her face.

"You can fly as well?" She asks and turns an admiring gaze towards his new wings. "Nice wings by the way."

"Uh... Thanks." Tom responds without thinking as he takes in his surrounding.

As for as the eye could see is a black void with space for Tom to fly to his hearts content.

Taking a deep breath to give himself a boost of courage, Tom flaps his new wings once again, trying to get used to them.

As Tom flew through the sky, practicing his newfound flight skills, Lady Death followed along, watching her master soar through the air inelegantly.

Soon, after almost an hour of practice, Tom started getting the hang of his black wings. With every well-timed flap, Tom maneuvers through the air with a smile on his face.

Anyone could fly on a broom in the wizarding world, but there's something freeing about flying without needing one.

After getting his flight under control, Tom lands in a random area and Lady Death appears next to him.

"Did you enjoy yourself, Master?" She asks, seeing the smile plastered on his face.

"Yes, That was exhilarating!" Tom says excitedly, causing Lady Death to smile at her master's behavior.

"Should we get back to our spar? You should have school in a few hours, I think." Lady Death says, breaking Tom from his earlier excitement.

"Yeah, you're right. Let's get back to it!" Tom says and immediately gets launched away by another backhand from Lady Death. "Ugh!"

After landing and brushing himself off, Tom couldn't help but think Lady Death was enjoying this...

The fight began once again, but Tom wouldn't really call it that. It was more of a one-sided beat down, where Lady Death constantly manhandled him.

No matter what Tom did, she would always counter him and send Tom flying across the realm of death like a rag doll.

Although the beat down was gruesome, with every passing moment, Tom was slowly getting his newfound strength under control.

Due to his new power, durability, and stamina, the spar lasted far longer than Tom imagined it would. By the time they finished, almost two days have passed since Toms arrival. Tom missed a day of Hogwarts, and was in the process of missing another.

Panting on the floor, Tom lay exhausted from his never-ending one-sided fight. Checking the time and date with a quick spell, Tom saw that he missed class, but it was definitely worth it.

Now, Tom has enough control over his strength not to murder people with the smallest of actions and mistakes.

'Oh well, Druella probably covered for me.' Tom thought as he lifted his head to see a perfectly pristine Lady Death. 'What a monster...'
