In a military tent, Druella and Tom sat on a bed looking at the slightly disheveled looking Steve and Peggy. Both were caught in the act and annoyed at the intrusion.
"Why are you here?" Peggy says with annoyance laced in her voice.
Steve subconsciously nodded beside his lover? He didn't know what they were but he does know he was just interrupted during a very good moment. He shared every bit of annoyance that Peggy feels.
"I thought you would like me to answer some questions for you." Tom said and the annoyance of the two disappears instantly.
They definitely wanted to continue what they started before being interrupted, but figuring out the mysterious magician is far more important.
"I see that caught your attention." Tom smirks at their now serious faces. "Feel free to ask some questions and we'll see if I'll answer them."
The two then started throwing questions out back and forth.
"What are your names?" Peggy asks.
"Tom and Drue." Tom replies.
"Where are you from?" Steve asks next.
"Where does it sound like we're from?" Druella says as she stares at Steve as if he were an idiot.
Once the small-time questions were finished, they started breaking out the big ones.
"Why did you help us?" Steve asks, truly curious as to why some strangers would help them.
"Because I felt like it." Tom says with a smile that's matched by Druella.
"Are you a magician or something?" Peggy breaks out the biggest question.
"Or something." Druella answers with a scoff.
"Alright, that's enough questions for now." Tom says, ending the questions portion of their evening.
"What? We've barely learned anything about you! You told us your names and then answered with deflections for every other question. Do you expect us to truly believe that you just helped us out of the kindness of your heart?" Peggy questions in an annoyed manner.
"I said that you could ask questions. I never promised to answer them. As for believing in our good intentions or not, that doesn't really matter to me." Tom answers casually.
Both Peggy and Steve just sigh in annoyance. At least they know the two magicians names...
"Now, onto business." Tom says as he stands from his place on the bed. "I would appreciate you two keeping our involvement in the rescue mission quiet."
"Why? Are you criminals or something?" Peggy asks in an accusatory manner.
"No, but I would rather be left alone. I don't need governments wanting to experiment on me or something. That would be really annoying." Tom explained with a sigh.
"Fine, we agree not to say anything as thanks for your help." Steve says in genuine gratitude.
"We will not!" Peggy voices her disagreement.
"Yes, we will. They helped us for free. The least we can do is keep their secret." Steve says, firmly staring into Peggy's eyes.
The staring match continues for a moment until a sigh could be heard from Peggy.
"Fine..." Peggy reluctantly agrees.
"Good, I appreciate your cooperation." Tom says as he gets up to leave. "Oh yeah, if you ever need my help again, say my name out loud. I'll arrive whenever I'm not too busy."
Tom opens a portal and steps through followed by Druella. The portal closes leaving behind Steve and Peggy in the tent.
"So... Do you want to pick back up where we left off?" Steve asks with a hopeful smile.
"Uhh... no. I'm not in the mood anymore." Peggys says as she walks out of the tent leaving a sexually frustrated Captain America behind.
"..." Steve just stood in the tent, not satisfied at all with how this evening turned out.
————————————————————————————
When Red Skull landed his plane on a runway outside a Hydra base, he was stewing in anger and resentment.
He lost the one item that powered his new weaponry. Without the tesseract, his plans for world domination will be slowed considerably.
When he stepped out of the plane, a voice he never wanted to hear sounded behind him.
"It seems the great Red Skull has failed in his duties." The voice says in an English accent.
Red Skull turns around and sees a white blonde-haired man dressed in a fine suit.
"Grindelwald..." Red Skull says with distaste in his mouth. "What do you want? I've made it very clear that you've been banned from any Hydra facilities."
"How could I be banned from my own facilities?" Grindewald answers with a smirk on his face.
"What?!" Red Skull grounds his teeth and tightens his fists.
"Well, our glorious Fuhrer became very upset with your failure. Losing a base that produced advanced weapons for our grand mission so easily. Truly disappointing, Red." Grindelwald says with a smirk.
"And that imbecile put you in charge of Hydra?" Red Skull gnashes his teeth and glares at the wizard before him.
"You catch on so quickly." A taunting smile surfaces on Gellert's face.
"Like that fool could make up his own ideas." Red Skull glares at Grindelwald.
"A little bird may have whispered in his ear that Hydra wasn't being led properly." Gellert smirks victoriously. "Now, as your superior officer, I command you to kneel."
Red Skull couldn't believe the nerve of this man. As if he would willingly give up his organization so easily!
As their staredown continues, Red Skull was the first to make his move. He dashed forward and drew a knife from his belt. The need to spill the blood of the man before him clouded his mind.
"Do you really think I would just hand over all that I've built to some nobody?!" He yells as he swings his knife back.
"No, I was hoping you wouldn't." Grindelwald mutters as he draws his wand and calls a spell. "Crucio!"
Red lightning exits his wand and strikes Red Skull before he could get any closer. He falls mid-run and howls in pain on the cold ground. Grindelwald stares down at Red Skull and enjoys the sound of a man wailing in horrific pain.
Red Skull had no idea what was happened. All of his information on this man said he was an ordinary human, yet that seemed to be false.
"Now, where is that blue cube I've been hearing so much about?" Gellert questions as the red lightning disappears.
"Hehe, I don't have it!" Red Skull laughed in pain as he heaved on the ground.
He never thought he would be happy that the tesseract was stolen from him. It seems he would've lost it upon his arrival anyway.
"What do you mean 'you don't have it'?" Gellert questioned in displeasure.
"It was stolen." Red Skull says, enjoying the drop in Gellert's mood.
"Stolen? By who?"
