Finding a Case/Roadhouse

Dean was driving to our case, but he told us that his case was to go find someone who knew of a case. As we were listening to music Dean pulled up to a bar.

"Dean, Mary can't go in there. She is not old enough," Sam yelled.

Dean just smiled, and got out of the car. Sam ran after Dean. I followed Cas into the bar. Behind the bar was a middle-aged woman that was staring at me. I walked up to the bar, and sat down.

"You don't look old enough to be in here," the woman said.

I noticed Sam, Dean, and Cas were talking to a boy with a mullet. There seemed to only be three people in the bar, other than the ones that came with me.

"I came with them," I said pointing at the boys.

She looked at them with a raised eye brow, but turned back to me.

"What can I get you?" she asked with a real sweet smile.

"I would just like a water," I said with a smile.

"My name is Ellen."

"Mary."

We shook hands, and started to talk. She told me that she sees the boys as her sons, and she worries about them. I told her everything about me, and she seemed to care like Bobby.

"Here is my number. Give me a call if you need anything," she said handing me a slip of paper.

"Yes ma'am," I said with tears started to form.

The boys set down with the boy and a girl.

"Mary this is Ash and Jo. Ash, Jo this is Mary," Sam said pointing at everyone as he said their names.

I could tell that Jo was Ellen's daughter.

"You have a very kind mother," I said with a smile.

"Thank you," Jo said with a smile.

I told them everything that has happened to me, and they believed me. I knew my story sounded crazy, and that the hunters deal with the crazy. But I still thought that they would not believe me.

"I don't understand you humans," I said with a smile.

"What do you mean?" Dean asked.

"For some reason all of the people I have met in the past 24 hours has believed my story. I don't understand why you all would believe it."

"Because we know that crazy shit happens."

I smiled at them all with tears in my eyes.

"Look, in this line of work we have found out a few things. Mainly, it is not going to help if you don't believe and respect people," Sam said as he wrapped an arm around my shoulders.

"You just met me yesterday," I said with tears starting to fall.

"A lot of us hunters have grown into a family. It would be rude if we did not at least offer it to someone else."

I looked at the faces around me, and for the first time in my life I felt safe. I grabbed a pen, and wrote down seven names on the piece of paper Ellen gave me. Sam, Cas, Dean, Bobby, Ellen, Ash, and Jo were the names I wrote. Everyone smiled at me, and I smiled at them. They were not my family, but I knew they would look out for me. I would do my best to look after them.

"Hey guys, I just remembered. There is something strange going on down at New Mexico," Ash said as Ellen handed him a beer.

"Ok, where at in New Mexico?" Sam asked looking at Ash, and removing his arm.

Ash wrote down the addresses of the places that the strange things were happening. He did not say what the strange thing was. We waved as we piled into the Impala.

"You seem happy," Cas said tilting his head to one side.

"I feel safe," I said with a smile.

"Wait I forgot something," Sam said as he jumped out of the car.

"You need to tell him how you feel. I can see you like him, and I can see he likes you," Dean said pointing at Sam.

"Why do you say that?"

"We grow to a family quickly because we lose people quickly. I want do see Sam happy, and he seems to like you."

"Ok, I will tell him."

Sam came running out of the bar with his bag. He jumped into the car, and we were off. We sang to the radio, and I would laugh at Dean as he tried to hide the fact that he liked some of the "Girly" songs. It was a long drive, but we made it to New Mexico. Cas went to deal with Angel stuff, and Dean went to get supplies. I waved my wand above me, and my clothes changed to red silk PJs. I still had the necklace on.

"Hey Sam," I said once Sam was out of the bathroom.

"Yeah?" he asked.

"I need to tell you something..."

"I got pie and beer," Dean said as he walked in as I was trying to tell Sam.

"...sweet dreams!" I finish.

I curled up on the couch, and they had the beds.

"Did I come at a bad time?" Dean asked confused.

"I am not sure, but I think you stopped her from saying something," Sam said as a bed creaked.

They fell asleep before me, but I fell asleep to their snoring.
