Missing Mystery

" Have you lost it ?! " He seethes right through my ears. He then holds my left hand high inspecting it, He asks " WHAT ON EARTH IS THIS? AND WHERE ON EARTH DID YOU GO ?! " Cairo raises his other hand to hit me with vigor. I turn my face, the whole world seems to be muted for a second. I didn't feel anything. I look at Cairo, He is still persistently staring at me. Cairo's wrist is held by Hairum.

" You're flooded with emotions. Calm down first" Hairum says peacefully. As if that is going to cool things off. He is trying to create peace between us. He is the one who created this whole mess. Should I really help this jerk? I grab a duffel bag near me and push both of them away using the bag. All my energy is drained out. They barely step back and clumsy walk a few steps They are steady and got their balance in a few seconds.

I try walking straight but my steps seem to sway back and forth. I lose my balance and bend my knees a bit. But I catch the table and stand upright. This is not going to be good. My vision blurs for the second time and now the injury in my left-hand hurts.

I see a blue energy drink offered to me by a masculine hand. I raise my head a little to look at him. Rum extends the bottle a little too close to my face. I stare at him for a while. He is distinct for a second and then vague the next second. At this rate, I'm just going to end up on the floor. I can't be a princess fainting there and here carried by any stupid prince. I would rather be a queen fighting on the battlefield and fall dead after a nice backstab. I take the drink, I actually snatch it from him and gulp it down. I can literally feel him control his chuckle. "What's so funny ?!" I ask with a straight face and raise my left eyebrow. His expression relaxes but I can still see a smile on his stupid jerk face.

He shrugs his shoulder and walks up to Cairo. "Let's Leave." He says and Cairo walks behind him avoiding my gaze."I need food, I don't have much energy left" Cairo says loudly. " Why don't we go to the cafe just a few blocks down? " I ask from where I stand. I avoid making eye contact with both idiots. They exchange glances. Cairo walks out without a word. Don't walk out on me like that jerks. I groan in a vexatious manner. "Come !" Hairum says like an excited puppy who wants to be taken for a good nice walk. I hate puppies!

All of us take a silent car ride to the cafe. None of us have the composure to utter anything. I left the BMW back in the academy. Rum said he would take care of it and handed me my purse. I get down the car before it would come to a proper halt and literally sprint into the cafe. The coffee smell fills my nostrils. Such a great blessing! I love sniffing coffee aroma than drinking it. I take a corner table towards the end where there is no one. Cairo and Harium are just following me. Who asked them to come in the first place? Well , it was me! ARGH, I regret asking them to join me.

Cairo and Hairum sit together and I sit across them in the table. All of us order espresso and some cheese sandwiches.

"We were worried sick" Cairo finally decides to talk it off.

"Hmmmmhmmm" I drag it.

" You could have told me. I didn't even tell our parents. They still think we are in the hotel. What made you think you can misuse your freedom like this ?" Cairo is trying to dig his own grave.

I glare at him "I - what ?!"

"Who asked you to go alone?" He rephrases it.

"Just couldn't tolerate your love story so I needed a break " I tell him off.

His eyes widened. Rum is watching back and forth, Like a lost puppy. Argh! Someone shoo this guy away!

"Look me and Jazeera are just acquainted that's all" Cairo confesses. Now, Its Rum's turn to enlarge his eyes.

" Since when did you guys know each other? " Rum speaks out for the first-ever since coming to this place. He seems genuinely surprised. Like what is so surprising? He was pouring alcohol to all kinds of people last night and it doesn't matter. My brother talks to his assistant, Its a huge crime!

Before Cairo could go on with some more explanation my phone rings bringing both of their attention to my pocket. I pull it out. It's a familiar number flashing on my screen but I can't really figure who it could be. I answer it "Hello?".

There are all kinds of noise from the other end. Some man is speaking in a frenzied manner. "Enz Wilson?" I ask not sure if it's really him.

" Please Zyna! I beg for your help!" He is literally fighting back his tears.

I immediately pull out my phone from my ear and put it on speaker and place it in the middle of the table. Geez! Rum is here but that doesn't really matter.

" Go on. What do you want? If you don't mind, There are two more people listening to this conversation." I tell in an appealing way.

" I DONT CARE ABOUT ALL THAT! Just help me find my Girlfriend. She is been missing for about an hour." He half screams and cries.

" Dude seriously ?! An hour so what ?! She will come back. God! Why are you messing with me ?" I have lost all my composure. Food arrives at the table and I just literally shove the whole sandwich into my mouth.

" I received a note when I came from the Academy to pick her from her home. It says she will be long gone before I realize it." He sobs now. Such a crybaby!

" Buddy it's going to be alright! Please calm yourself. You cant search for her if you're not in a quiet state. Please breathe." Rum is singing a cradlesong for this crybaby?!

" Don't Panic! Call her phone she might pick it." Cairo says. Wow! You guys can handle it then. I sip my espresso watching both of them suggest innovative ideas to find her.

"She is not reachable," Enz tells in between his sobs. Pity! I don't have many ideas now. I just continue eating. Rum and Cairo can take care of.

" Zyna please...find her.. what if she is in danger?" Enz begs and both the guys sitting across me flip their heads to stare at me. " What you looking at? You want me to pull out your eyeballs outta your sockets? I'll gladly do it for you! " I tell them and with that, they look away.

" Fine listen carefully and don't make me repeat. 1. Calm yourself 2.Do you have any of her Google ID? 3. If so login that ID right now." I instruct him.

" Yes! Both of us share an ID..." I cut him " I don't care about that now " I seethe. " Just do what I say " I tell him impatiently.

He puts the call on hold. " I did" he says after a minute. " What now ?" He asks

" Great! Now go the settings - Find my device option and select her device model from it and ring it! Her phone will start ringing if she is nearby provided that her phone is connected to the WI-FI. But WI-FI's maximum range is 50 meters.. remember that! " I tell him as calmly as possible. "OKAY" with that he disconnects the call. He might call back either with good or bad news.

Rum is furiously tapping his foot in anticipation of the call. Cairo is opening and closing his sandwich as if it's a nice mini door. I just sit there finishing my food and watching them. My phone rings and I'm the first person to take hold of it and swipe. The call connects

"Hello?!" Is all we here and it just disconnects. Soooo it's a missing mystery ?... BINGO! I've to find the missing piece.
