The Yellow Horned Bull Successfully Tamed

"Bull spirit... be my first avatar!!!", Ryuu said with excitement.

There are two possible ways to fuse with the cores and gain avatars.

One among them was after cultivating to a higher level than the core and then allowing the fusion. That way the fusion will happen quite easily and there will be no opposition or only a little opposition by the spirit beast. However, there will be almost no growth in the spirit beast avatar. It's power will remain the same!

But in case of second method the risk was high. Here the core was fused before attaining the required cultivation realm and usually, the host would be weaker than the core.

In such a case there will be high opposition by the spirit trapped inside the core which will try to resist the host from controlling it.

The host could completely lose control over his own body if he were to do that and that was why such a cultivation technique was long lost but Ryuu had stumbled upon such a technique by chance so he thought that it would be best to use it right now.

In the second method, the avatar would also grow along with the host which will indirectly benefit him.

"Hmm... I can go with the second method but I haven't cultivated at all... will my body be able to withstand it?", was what he was asking himself.

He didn't know about the power of the spirit opposition when they were in a higher realm when compared to the host since he had never performed that in his past life.

He had no way of confirming it either so right now his only choice that was left was for him to completely tame and gain control over the bull spirit and turn it into his avatar.

"There is no use in thinking for too long and wasting time, life is filled with risks so it's better if I try it out.", he had full confidence in himself and thought that he would be able to take it easy.

He simply believed in 'High Risk, High Return!'

He kept the core exactly in front of him and started to absorb the soul power that had been radiating from it all this entire time.

Slowly and steadily the core started to float in the air after some 5-10 minutes. Then suddenly it started to vibrate with great vigor. It was simultaneously glowing with yellow light too and that radiance was filling the entire room.

"Ughhh....", Slowly Ryuu started to feel the pain the moment the yellow-colored light from the core started to surround Ryuu and enter his body.

"Arghhh!!!", he was constantly in meditation pose and was trying to make the core a part of his body however it seemed as if the core was trying to run away from his grasp.

"Damn... I can't lose it.", he tried to control it completely by using his killing intent and dominating power but that was having the opposite effect.

It kept on moving far away from him as if it was out of his reach.

"Why!!?", he kept on thinking this when suddenly he remembered the teachings of his great master which he had heard in his past life.

'Flow is found in everything, go with the flow and you will attain great heights, try to go against it and you will be doomed.', was a great saying after remembering which he calmed his mind and heart.

All the thoughts had vanished. His mental strength was at its highest form. Thus he took a deep breath and concentrated on the core's energy.

Then slowly he started to attract the core towards him after which the fusion had started successfully.

Inside his body in a soul realm, a yellow color bull appeared which was trying to fight against the soul of Ryuu. But Ryuu was somehow managing to dodge it and control it somehow by going with the flow.

It was like a wild fight as if Ryuu was facing the bull in real life, but the only difference was that both of them seemed quite similar in strength. It would be better to say that Ryuu was definitely stronger!

"I won't give up...", the pain was certainly increasing but with that, the fusion was also moving towards success when suddenly there was a small backfire which Ryuu had failed to notice.

"Damn!!! How could I make this mistake!!!?", he had forgotten about the blue herb which he had eaten earlier.

It was to strengthen his soul base but unfortunately, it was strengthening the bull's soul which was inside him.

He had forgotten to give some time in between fusion and rest because of which his soul base was unsteady.

The yellow massive bull's soul kept on attacking Ryuu's soul and slowly his soul seemed to be shattering and disappearing.

Suddenly he coughed blood which was flowing out of his mouth.

"Shit... I messed up.", immediately after saying this he lost his consciousness and fell on the floor.

He couldn't do anything now since his inner soul was also weakened. He himself couldn't understand what he had to do and his body that tried to protect itself naturally made him unconscious.

"I don't want to die... I can't die!", was what his thoughts were just before he fainted.

His soul was barely able to fight against the bull's soul since it had lost its will. It seemed as if the bull's spirit was going to attain the victory and then completely destroy Ryuu's soul when suddenly a yellow-colored light started to shin from his left leg.

The light was even more blinding than the light from the bull's core from earlier. It eventually covered his body after which he too started to float along with the core just parallel to it.

"Ughhh...", he was still giving some reactions which meant that he had not completely lost yet.

The bull's soul too started to calm down and slowly and steadily it became a symbol in the soul's domain inside Ryuu.

Soul Domain or Soul's Domain or Soul Realm is a place where a soul of a living being resides. It is the place where the ultimate form of consciousness is present.

It had successfully become his avatar by now and his own soul which had been heavily damaged was suddenly being repaired.

It seemed like a miracle since there was no logical explanation for this. Slowly and steadily the light started to dim and eventually vanished. The core too which was originally yellow had now turned completely black just like a coal piece.

Ryuu was still unconscious and was lying on the floor for some time after which he slowly started to regain his energy.

"Uhh...", he slowly regained his consciousness too.

"W-what happened...?", he somehow managed to sit straight when he suddenly felt weird energy inside his body.

"Huh...? This...", he was beyond speechless when he felt faint energy coming from his body.

A sudden yellow glow of light flashed from his body while taking a slight appearance of a bull.

" Avatar...?"

" Did I just acquire an avatar?"

He didn't know how to respond because he had already got his first avatar in a rather miraculous way!
