4th hokage ren ( dropped )

I woke up and found myself surrounded by trees . the tress were more robust and taller than the trees on earth so the sight was fresh in my eyes .

suddenly some kind of memories started appearing inside my head. I felt too much pain the head so could only hold it while hoping the pain would end soon .

fortunately the pain lasted only about a minute and I felt refreshed somehow as thought the piercing pain never appeared in the first place .

the new fact was that I had some new memories inside my mind . so I could get the source of pain and decided to forget about it and focus on these memories.

I reviewed all the memories which were 6 years worth inside my head for about an hour and was surprised by the discovery.

I had actually reincarnated in the body of 6 years old hatake ren who was the sole blood nephew of sakumo hatake . despite my limited knowledge about the anime story , I knew about sakumo hatake because he was the father of hatake kakashi and died by suicide due to some reason when kakashi was small child .

the meeting of a child cannot be much clear anyway because the brain was in the process of development. only the memories of about a year and half in the past from now were clear. from those memories, I knew that my parents had died during some mission 3 years ago and my only remaining family was hatake sakumo who took care of me like I was his son .

I felt bad for taking over this body but I cant possibly do anything about it so I decided to forget about it . there are some things which only waste brain power so even if you feel guilty , there was no need to waste time on them because time is money .

I could also guess the timeline because apparently I was same age as minato namikaze . this character was too important so i could never forget about him even if i tried to . he was the 4 hokage and father of the main character naruto uzumaki.

this means that second great shinobi world war was about to start in a few years at most. I was sure because I remembered that minato graduated early from the academy and soon participated in the war as genin of konoha and student of super pervert jiraya .

I had to start preparing from early on because according to the memories, I knew that this ren boy was not a very talented ninja . he had joined academy when he became 5 years old but only mastered clone jutsu which barely earned him the 9 th place in monthly class ranking . his talent was above average but the higher ranked were true geniuses while 1st place was minato who had already mastered 3 basic academy NINJUTSU.

at least I could perform clone jutsu now which would save me some time . this was my only thought because I had powers now so previous ranking did not serve any purpose.

from powers I remembered about system so decided to call it inside my mind .

with Sam's voice stopping , suddenly new information appeared inside my mind . I did not even need to concentrate as the feeling was comfortable and I could feel that I could the 3 just perfectly without wasting my chakra. the best thing was that I did not even need to use any hand signs to mold chakra perfectly when performing the 3 jutsu .

I decided to first clear a doubt with sam first then try these new cool jutsu with a clear mind.

" sam , you said something about stats . do you mean that you can show me my current stats? "

I really needed to know because if it was true then I could see my improvement clearly after each training session . motivation is too important for constant improvement.

I was a little surprised because I remembered RPGs from earth as status was basic stuff for any gamer .

well the quest came at the right time and the rewards on completion were too good . I had basic knowledge of chakra control inside the memories of the kid and according to them it's more than possible to reach high genin chakra control in a month . hmm.. looks like I will have to ask some guidance from my uncle hatake sakumo for better improvement but how do I explain this sudden improvement? I'm sure that any decent ninja with enough brain would completely freak out if they know the extent of my improvement.

" sam , there is one problem . I want to hide my chakra reserve from others especially powerful ninja like uncle and hokage . so is there any solution? I'm sure that you can answer my questions easily because you have much intelligence . and by the way call me ren from now on instead of host , it feels too distant . we have to talk regularly anyway so ren is better . I had only system to rely on because this kid didnt have any trustworthy friends . if he had made some friends like clan heirs then I could easily manipulate them to ask their parents about some method to hide chakra reserves from others . I'm a former businessman after all . but all my worries were for naught as sam came to my help .

I didnt need to check the authenticity of Sam's words as I had no choice but to trust him completely. so I slowly started walking towards the direction of hatake clan's main house while curiously looking at the surroundings on the way ....
