A new Y/n

*a month later

Aera, staying with the guys, was brainwashing them that Y/n was like this and that and made them believe her, so she could finish her work easily. She only wanted trust from these guys.

It was true that she was Taehyung's school friend. But she came here with another mindset. Aera had escaped from the jail.

Yes, she had comitted a murder and she is here, to hide herself, by staying at the boys' house and making them do things for her, as she couldn't go out. Her plan was to stay here as long as possible and when they (police) find out where she was, she'd run away, but before that kill the others too and then run away.

Cause the boys could tell them about her and identify her, and she had no option left, except to do that.

The boys thought she was a nice and sweet girl but on the inside, she was the opposite of it. Evil and moreover an escaped prisoner. And they were slowly forgetting about Y/n.

But, it was not the same, in the case of Y/n.

She always thought it was her fault and tried to cut her hand but Jennie and Kai would stop her.

But she really did do it. Her hand was bleeding a lot. They took her to the doctor and he said she was all fine.

"Why would you do something like this?" Kai asked.

"Kai, I don't know what to do. They were my everything. I am not able to forget them. I just hate evrything." She cried and hugged him. He comforted her and she cried under his arms.

Kai's parents were worried about Y/n. Halmeoni came back to their house as she got to know that Y/n was there. She couldn't be without Y/n. Y/n gave her all the comfort she wanted. Y/n would go to the home sometimes.

She felt depressed most of the times. kai was worried about her and would always encourage her. Her condition was getting worse. Dark circles and her eyes were swollen due to all the crying. Seeing her like this, Kai couldn't sleep.

"Y/n, please don;t be like this. We are all worried about you." Kai said as he sat beside Y/n. She rested her head on his shoulder.

"I'm sorry. I'm really sorry." She said.

"Don't apologise." He said.

"I don't want them again. I don't want to see them again. I don't want to be with them." She said and tears flowed slowly. She didn't know if the decision she made now, was right or not

But it hurt her so much that she didn't know what to do.

"It's only you, Jennie and her friends." Y/n said.

"Y/n, you don't need to-" She cut him.

"Please don't make me change my decision." She said and just lay there.

*next day

Y/n woke up and washed her face and did her morning routine. She headed down and smiled at everyone.

"So, is there anything I can do or I should do?' She asked.

"You just need to eat breakfast." Mrs Kim said.

"Y/n you look brighter today than the other days." Halmeoni said as she walked to the kitchen.

"Halmeoni, this a new me." She said and walked out, holding the sandwich in one hand.

"Ok, I'm off to work. See you evening." She waved and left.

"What is this?" halmeoni wondered.

"Halmeoni, she's back to normal, with some changes." Kai said.

"Y/n, wait. I'll drop you." He shouted and bid goodbye to his mother and his grandmother and ran outside to see Y/n already seated in the car.

He smiled and got in and drove. Y/n now, again works in a cafe, that is run by Kai's father and Kai is the manager there. That was her main job.

She would visit the home, once in a while.

They soon reached the cafe and got down. Y/n ran inside to the staffs room and wore her apron and walked out soon and gave the customers orders.

"Hope you enjoyed your drinks and our service. Please leave a feedback over there." She said and bowed to them and headed to the next customer.

Kai watched her while she walked here and there. He was happy to see her back to normal.

Y/n noticed him looking at her. And her heart started beating fast. So did his.

Y/n walked over to him.

"What are you looking me for?"

"You've changed." He said, smiling.

"I keep up to my words. So, get used to this." She said and walked back to the counter and started making coffee's while her co-worker, Andrea served.

Kai couldn't stop admiring her.

'Why do I feel weird around her/him? Is my heart trying to say something?' They both thought. They both looked at each other and their eyes met. Y/n smiled warmly at him and looked down. She was feeling shy.

'Is this called love?' They thought.

And they both smiled at their thought and continued with their work.

*2 months later

There was nothing new. Y/n never met them nor did the guys. Aera had them all in her hands. Y/n had changed to a better person than before.

She tried to forget about them and it was happening slowly. She was in a better place, that even if she sees them again, she wouldn't break down. Well, who knows what could happen?

But do they meet again? How will Y/n's reaction be when she meets them? Will something happen between them?

Well, they do!

The guys enter into the cafe, not knowing that Y/n was working in there.

They placed their orders and Andrea handed their drinks to Y/n, to serve.

She didn't see who it was and headed to tabled 10.

"Here are your drinks sir." She said and placed them one by one.

"Thank you...." Jin stopped and saw who it was. He realised it was Y/n. She bowed and left. She knew it was them as she saw them. But she didn't want that to spoil her.

She continued her work. Kai saw them and walked over to Y/n.

"Y/n, did you see..?" He asked. She nodded.

"What should I do for that?" She asked.

"You could talk with them." He said.

"Kai, there won't be any use And they don't look ready to hear me out. I don't want to keep begging them. Let them realise their mistake and come. Until that I'm not gonna do anything." She said and continued.

Kai sighed and left. The guys saw what was happeneing. But they couldn't hear her.

She came back with the bill.

"I hope you enjoyed your drink and our service. Please leave your feedback, over there." She bowed and left.

They paid and left, without entering the feedback.

Y/n didn't mind it and continued her work.

Kai and Jennie, each had a strainer for becoming an idol. They would practice on alternate days. Y/n would sometimes accompany them and see how they were doing.

Today, it was Kai's day to practice. They both headed home, early.

They both sat in the room and waited for the trainer. He soon came and they both bowed to him.

"Well, it's good to see you both here. Your help is required." The trainer said looking at Y/n.

"What is it?"

"I have some important work. I wouldn't be coming for two weeks. I wanted to tell this in person. I am leaving today, so, you and jennie can take some rest. You both have done a lot of practice."

They both bowed and he left.

"So, what do we do?" Kai asked.

"I don't know. How about we watch a movie?" Y/n suggested.

"Ok." And they both headed down and called Jennie and her friends along. They all sat down, with snacks and drinks.

"Let's watch horror!" Jennie suggested.

"Wae?" Y/n whined.

"Unnie, it'll be fun." Rose said.

"Ok." She said hesitating. Rose and Lisa sat together, while Jennie and Jisoo were together and Y/na nd Kai were together, sharing one blanket.

"Let's watch 'The Nun'." Jennie said and played. Y/n gulped in.

"Y/n, if you don't want, we can stop." Kai whispered.

"It's ok. They wished it. Let's just watch." She said and put her hands in the blanket.

The movie started. The starting was scary.

'God, please save me. Please save me. Please save.' Y/n kept praying inside.

The background music was too scary. Y/n held Kai's hand. Kai knew she was scared and held both her hands.

*15 mins later

The movie was getting more scary and Y/n couldn't take it. But she tried her best, controlling it.

Suddenly, the ghost came out of nowhere and Y/n buried herself quickly into Kai. Kai didn't know what to do. He was shocked by her sudden action. He slowly placed his hand around her and ensured she was safe.

Y/n did feel safe under his arms. She would take a peep at the movie and again hide herself. While, Jennie and her friends kept looking at them sometimes and the movie.

Y/n slowly fell asleep, on him. She didn't care about the horror movie nd she just fell asleep under his arms.

*after few hours

The movie finished and the girls looked at them. They both had fallen asleep.

"Let's just go." Jennie whispered and they tip-toed and left.

Both of them didn't realise they were asleep.

"Kai? Jennie, did you Kai?" His mother asked.

"Eomma, don't shout." She whispered.

"Come with me." She took her mom with her and showed them. His mother smiled and let them sleep.

"Everyone, don't disturb them." His mother said to the other workers and they continued their work.

*after an hour

*crash*

There was a loud sound in Jennie's room.

Y/n and Kai both woke up by the sound. But Y/n didn't realise she was sleeping on Kai.

"what is that noise?" She asked.

"Maybe, Jennie broke something again." Kai said. She nodded her head and lay back.

But then she realised, someone had responded to her question.

She looked up and saw Kai. She got up quickly.

"Omo! I'm sorry. Sleep took over me." She said.

"It's ok." He said and walked to his room.

As he left, Y/n's cheeks turned red. She covered her cheeks with her hands.

"Omo! Why am I blushing hard?" She whispered to herself.

'Is this what it is?'
