"Chloe!" I called as I ran down the hall despite my injured leg.

I heard the officers calling me and running behind me but I couldn't hear a thing.

I burst into the room with my bloodstained hands.

"Chloe!" I called in alarm.

I saw her lying on the bed but something was wrong. She wasn't moving.

She was too motionless.

Oh, no.

My back hit the wall as I gasped out in shock.

My body was shaking from terror.

"No!" I screamed and in an instant, I was thrown back into the past.
