A wave of sand granules kicked up from within the quicksand. These sand granules were all made of Close Guard Sand, the most active parts of the Source Sand.

Lin Yuan noticed that the Close Guard Sand had changed significantly. Previously, the Close Guard Sand was translucent. But now, the Close Guard Sand was made of transparent crystals.

These crystals did not have color, but they seemed to be able to absorb any metal-type spiritual ingredient and temper it to gain its characteristics.
