Ben had been waiting for the perfect time to tell his wife that he was gonna be traveling to South Africa soon. He had just finished eating dinner, the delicious meal his wife prepared for him to eat, like damn! she was a great cook. But at this moment, Ben was still contemplating on how to break the news to his wife.

It's been over two years now since Ben got married to his wife. Have you heard of love at first sight? Yeah, that's exactly what transpired between the both of them when they set eyes on each other. They met at a club party, weird right? but that's the absolute truth. After that, they got to know more about each other, then they started dating, and before anyone knew what was happening, Ben proposed to her, and she accepted immediately.

Their marriage was a very simple one, just a court marriage, and they were done. Ben is older than his wife by three years making her 30 years old presently. They haven't given birth to a child of their own since when they got married, it's no one's fault though. They do spend time and have fun together whenever they had the chance to do so, they were both busy people.

Ben's wife does travel a lot due to the nature of her job. Ben is a music producer, he is mostly busy producing songs for artistes and making money.

"I hope you enjoyed the meal". Ben's wife inquired of him after clearing the dining table of plates.

"Yeah, I enjoyed the meal, you're one of the best cooks I have ever known". Ben retorted with a smile on his face.

His wife smiled back at him, came closer to him, and placed a kiss on his cheek. Meanwhile, Ben was still contemplating on how to break the news to his wife that he was gonna be traveling to South Africa soon, it was hard for him. He knew that his wife was gonna be really hurt when he breaks the news to her. She wanted to spend time with Ben now that she was gonna be staying for a long time, no trips in the meantime.

But Ben would have to break the news to her, he has to travel to South Africa with Mark to render him the best support ever, Mark attaining the fame he deserves as an artiste is very important to Ben. So Ben stared directly into his wife's eyes and said,

"Honey, I have something to tell you".

"What is it? Voice it out".

"I'm gonna be traveling to South Africa soon".

Her facial expression changed immediately, she wasn't expecting that statement,

"You are gonna be traveling to South Africa soon? Why?".

"I wanna accompany an artiste over there for a tour. The artiste is a very good friend of mine, we have a certain goal to achieve over there". Ben clarified.

"But we are supposed to be spending a lot of time together now that I won't be traveling for a long time. Now, you are the one that's gonna be traveling instead?". She expressed with a type of unhappy expression on her face.

"I'm so sorry, but I have to do this, it's very important". Ben expressed, he doesn't like the fact that she was getting unhappy already.

She strolled to one of the long sofas in the parlor and sat on it, that unhappy expression still plastered to her face. Ben stood up from the dining chair he was sitting on and sauntered over to the parlor and sat on the same couch his wife was sitting on sitting very close to her.

"You don't have to be unhappy, it's not like I'm staying there forever".

"I'm not unhappy 'cause you're gonna be traveling soon, I'm unhappy 'cause you're traveling at the time when I want to spend quality time with you, at the time when I won't be traveling for a long time". Ben's wife stated.

"All I can say is 'am sorry', all I can do is apologize. But as for the travel to South Africa, it must take place, it's very important". Ben asserted.

Ben's wife stared directly into Ben's eyes and said, "Ain't you gonna impregnate me?".

That statement startled Ben, like, where did that come from? why was she saying this all of a sudden?

"Why are you saying this all of a sudden? what do you mean by ain't I gonna impregnate you?".

"Yeah, ain't you gonna impregnate me? it's been two years since we got married and we don't have a child of our own. This little time we have to spend together, you wanna travel? This is a chance for you to impregnate me".

Now, Ben doesn't like where this discussion was going anymore, he wanted it to end, but one thing was for sure, he was gonna travel with Mark to South Africa. In an attempt to want to end the discussion, he decided to throw the blame on his wife for the pregnancy stuff she was talking about.

"You keep on traveling all the time, that's why I haven't gotten you pregnant".

"It's not my fault, it's as a result of my job". Ben's wife asserted defending herself.

"And it's not my fault also that I have to travel to South Africa soon. It's very important, more important than what you are thinking. An artiste that I care about so much as to achieve the fame he deserves. Traveling to South Africa is part of the steps we are taking for him to achieve that, try to understand me please, let's not make this an issue. Once again, I'm really sorry". Ben stated trying to make things clear to his wife.

She calmed down a little, stared directly into Ben's eyes once again, and questioned,

"How long are you gonna be staying there?".

"Sincerely, I don't know, it depends". Ben retorted.

"So you're gonna leave music production for the meantime, you're gonna leave this house and your car also. And most importantly, you're gonna be leaving me alone in this house".

"All I can do is apologize, and as for this house and my car, without telling you, I know you'll look after them".

She was hesitant to speak at first, but she finally spoke, "Surely, I'll do so, I'll look after them".

"Please do so, don't be unhappy, seeing you sad is making me sad also, please cheer up". Ben said pecking her on the cheek, that peck was enough to make her smile, she couldn't help it. After that, they talked about other stuff as both of them kept on laughing together.

Kendrick had a song he wrote out of inspiration, and he wanted Dylan to be the producer of the song. He and Dylan do connect in great ways whenever they come together to make a song. Kendrick is one of the famous artistes in the music industry, he came into limelight at the early age of 19 after his record deal with the label he is signed to currently, he is 22 years old presently. He respects Dylan a lot, Dylan is one of his best music producers.

Dylan had produced some hits songs for him which made it to the music billboard chart, but most of the attention and praise goes to Kendrick forgetting that a producer worked together with him to make such vibeful songs. Dylan and Kendrick were sitting comfortably in Dylan's recording studio. Dylan had listened to the lyrics and tone of the song, now, he was trying to create a beat that would be suitable for it. This was the last song he was gonna be producing for any artiste in USA in the meantime.

It took an hour for Dylan to climax with the creation of the beat, it wasn't easy stuff. After that, they began with the recording immediately, Kendrick put on one of the studio's headphones and sauntered to one of the microphones for the recording. Within 38 minutes, they had concluded with the recording. They needed no backup singer or vocalist for the recording, Kendrick did all, that's what is called talent.

What should be the expectation when a talented artiste and a gifted producer come together to make a song? immense vibe should be the expectation. The song they recorded together was really cool and vibeful to listen to. Kendrick was a popular artiste, so it was quite easy for the song to become a hit. After saving the song to the studio's computer, Dylan inquired of Kendrick,

"So when is the song gonna be released?".

"I like the energy of the song, I wrote this song out of inspiration without hearing a beat, so it's gonna be among the songs am gonna release soon". Kendrick responded.

"Hmm, that's cool, let's climb up to my chill-out parlor upstairs, I've something to tell you". Dylan said to Kendrick.

"Something to tell me? okay then". Kendrick uttered as the both of them strolled to the staircase and began mounting it.
