Darcy's manager suggested that they drop the newly recorded song this week, while Gary suggested that they drop it next week. But after much contemplation and deliberation, they decided to go with the suggestion of Darcy's manager.....the song Darcy recorded was gonna drop along the week. They had so much belief in the song, the possibility of the song blowing up and rising Darcy to stardom was high....yeah, that's their belief.

Two days after the recording of the song, the song dropped. Yeah, that vibeful rap song, that song that could catch a person's attention and keep the person glued. But a question pops up, was the song gonna blow up and rise Darcy to stardom? was her first single under the 'Cool Boiz' label enough to bring her to the limelight?

Well, just a day after the song dropped, it gathered close to a million streams on all music streaming platforms....that was enough evidence that the song was gonna be big. Lots of people were already grooving to the song within just a day of its release. Lovers of rap music were in love with the song, the flow was just too unique. Seeing how well the song was already performing within a day of its release, Gary arranged the video shoot immediately. He wouldn't waste time doing stuff like this.

When Mark and Pascal got signed to the 'Cool Boiz' record label, their first single didn't come close to gathering the amounts of streams Darcy's single had gathered in 24 hours of its release. The only artiste under his label that came close to accomplishing what Darcy had just achieved was a female artiste he signed in the past. An artiste Gary signed before he even discovered Mark and Pascal.

Gary had signed other artistes to his label before Mark and Pascal, to be precise, three artistes...two males and one female. And the best part of it was that all three of them blew up in the music industry. But the males didn't blow up immediately, they dropped up to four songs before coming into the limelight. But the female artiste rose to stardom with just her first single under the 'Cool Boiz' record label.

The numbers of streams her first song gathered within 24 hours was close to Darcy's own, but it's not up to it.....there was still a reasonable gap between them. And Gary didn't waste time arranging the video shoot after her song gathered that amount of streams within 24 hours of its release. He was really happy, he had signed a potential artiste to his label, an artiste that was surely gonna rise to stardom easily, an artiste that was gonna bag lots of music awards to her name, and most importantly.....an artiste that was gonna generate lots of money for him.

That's exactly how happy Gary was on seeing the streaming numbers Darcy's single had gathered within 24 hours....that's why he wanted a video shoot to take place immediately. He had contacted one of the best video directors for the video shoot. The 'Cool Boiz' headquarter video studio room was filled up with people that afternoon....the music video shoot was about to take place. Darcy was present, Gary, Darcy's manager, the video director, the makeup artists, the cameramen, and other participants of the video shoot.

After some minutes of preparation, the shoot began, and the video director orchestrated the video shoot in the best possible way. Darcy changed outfits up to three times throughout the video shoot.....not her doing anyway, but the director. The shoot was centered on her most, only a few people showed in the video. The only dancer that participated in the video was a robotic kind of dancer. He spiced up the video with his robotic dancing skills.

At the end of the shoot, Gary and Darcy's manager showed themselves in the video, they stood at Darcy's sides, one on the left and the other on the right. One thing was for sure, the video was gonna be really dope after its editing. All the shooting activity took place in the video studio room, there was no movement from one location to another, so the video was gonna need lots of editing for background changing and so on.

The video was edited by a very good editor, after that, it dropped. That was how Gary wanted it to be, he wanted everything to be done immediately. The video was shot that day, edited that day and released the other day....that was how fast Gary wanted it to be released. In 13 hours of its release, the video gathered up to 1 million views on Darcy's YouTube channel.....Wow! that's huge.

Not only that, the comments were so positive, people were feeling the colorfulness of the video and Darcy's rapping style. By now, the streaming number was sitting on an amount of 3 million.....seems like it was gonna make it to the music billboard chart as time passes. Darcy's social media followers were increasing rapidly, especially on Instagram. It was clear enough that Darcy was rising to stardom.....an artiste that recently got signed to the 'Cool Boiz' label was already making waves in the music industry, that's like wow!

Gary's happiness knew no bound, like, he was really elated. He didn't make the wrong choice by signing her to his record label, she was like the new blessing to his label. His record label was gaining more attention because of her.....she was truly a golden girl.

Mark visited the gym to exercise his body that Mid-afternoon. After doing some few push-ups and weight lifting, the thoughts in his mind couldn't let him go further, he was thinking about how high Darcy was flying already...an artiste that just got signed to the 'Cool Boiz' record label. He found a vacant chair in the gym to sit on and think properly.

He reminisced back to the last words Darcy said to him at the rap contest, 'Mark my words, I am gonna blow up in the music industry as fast as possible as a rapper'. And yeah, she was already living up to that statement, she was rising to stardom as a rapper. He thought about the number of views Darcy's music video gathered within 13 hours of its release and he was just so confused and frustrated at the same time.

Like her recent music video gathered up to a million views on her YouTube channel within 13 hours of its release. Not to talk of the 3.6 million streams the song had already generated within some few days of its release. But he had been dropping songs and music videos under the same 'Cool Boiz' record label for the past four years now, but his music videos have never made it past 250 thousand views, not to talk of the streaming numbers his songs do generate...so discouraging.

Gary would give no f**k about him anymore, he gave no f**k before anyway. He has a rapper signed to his label that would be making more money for him from now on, so if Mark decides to stop recording songs, it's none of his fucking business from now on. Mark was used to getting discouraging comments from Gary about his unprogressive music career....it might worsen.

He thought about the unique song he, Dylan, and Ben worked together to record at Ben's studio, the song on which he sang and rapped at the same time. Was the song even gonna blow up and make him a famous artiste? well, he doubted it to the very core, the possibility of it being a failure was really high...it might be another of Dylan's wasted ideas. His mind was still filled up with thoughts when his phone rang. The caller ID indicated that it was Dylan calling, so he answered immediately,

"Xup Dylan, any problem, why the call?". Mark inquired of Dylan the moment he picked up the phone call.

Dylan didn't reply to Mark's question, he just kept silent, and Mark was like,

"Bro, why are you keeping mute? You are the one that called me, so why are you keeping silent? any problem?".

Dylan finally spoke, "You should know by now, that new rapper that recently got signed to the same label as you is making waves in the music industry already. That rap song of hers titled 'Dawn' is shaking the whole streets of America, there is a very high possibility that it would make it to the music billboard chart as time passes".

"Yeah, I know that, she is living up to the statement she made to me at the rap contest. Blowing up wasn't hard for her the moment she got signed to a big record label. I'm the cursed one here". Mark stated with a type of sad tone of voice.

"Don't talk like that Mark, that song you recorded might make an impact when it's released. At what specific date are we to release the song according to your management?". Dylan asked.

"My manager suggested that the music video is to be shot first, so both the video and the audio can be released at the same time".

Dylan hesitated a bit before speaking, " Hmmm, before that happens, we're visiting a jewelry store tomorrow".
