Showdown, Pt. II

Spike looked up. "What was that...?"

Kyoda looked around him as well. "I felt something... that energy..."

Gida went into Voltage. "Who cares?! This is a fight!"

Spike looked at Gida. "You're not getting a hit on me!"

foom!

Gida took a kick to his chest. "Is he faster than me...?!" he thought.

Kyoda saw Gida fly past him. Before he turned his head again, Spike had a fist hurdling toward his face.

woosh!

He was able to duck in time.

But Spike already saw it coming. He kicked Kyoda in the face to knock him back.

Gida scrambled to his feet, so did Kyoda. They rushed their opponent simultaneously.

Spike had no problem at all fighting them. "Too slow!"

Kyoda's eye glowed. Time slowed to a standstill for him. He ran at Spike and managed to hit him squarely in his stomach.

Time resumed.

Spike slid back several feet. He grit his teeth. "I was hit...?"

Gida jumped at him. Spike reacted easily, getting him out the way and kicked him.
