Chapter 97 - The Unfortunate Encounter

Feeling a presence nearby, Jaiye suddenly turned right and glared into the distant darkness. "Reya, Haily, let's not stay here long," she urged them away.

"But we haven't decided on which task to do next.... eh.... why are you pushing," Reya mumbled with a small smile.

"Let's leave now!!" Jaiye said with a frown and pulled them both with both her hands looped together.

Only after getting a little further did her racing heart stop. Even so, Jaiye kept a watchful eye behind and led them both away.

"Why are we in such a hurry, though? Is something wrong?" Haily whispered gently.

"I felt something weird nearby... but I don't think its following us anymore," Jaiye said finally showing them a small smile. "Come on, Reya, what other task do we have," she looped her hand over her shoulder and gently pulled her close.
