Harmless Kisses

Dan, who was still seated in the living room and was waiting to see if Bella would return, was lost in thoughts.

Now that he had confessed his feelings to her by tomorrow when she must have agreed to be his girlfriend, which he was sure of since he could tell the feeling was mutual, he would come clean with her. He would tell her everything about herself and himself.

What if she changes her mind after he had told her the truth? A voice in his head asked.

He would do everything within his power to make sure she didn't have a change of heart after his revelation. He decided as he gathered his thoughts together. A smile tugged on his lips when he heard her footsteps.

"I thought you wouldn't be joining me again," Dan said the moment he felt her presence before he saw her.

"Why wouldn't I?" Bella asked as she went to sit on the sofa opposite him.

"I thought maybe you would feel embarrassed and would want to avoid me," Dan said with a shrug.
