Blood and Dance

"Love, wait for me, okay. I'll find you..." Rebus gently whispered in his ear.

Eru shook his head. "I—I don't want to leave so soon. I mean we just got married for goodnes's sake,"

His eyes filled up with tears of regret. If only he had met Rebus in his other world, they could have had a family together. Now..... "I don't wish to leave,"

Rebus gently kissed his mouth. "Your mission here is complete, and.... you are disappearing," he whispered, holding his hands up.

His hands were indeed getting translucent.

"so.... this is goodbye then...."

"No, this is not a goodbye," Rebus kissed him once again. "Remember, wait for me. I shall follow you wherever you are. And my dear, don't trust any gods. None of them are to be trusted."

Eru, sobbingly nodded. "I'll wait for you." he hugged him tight. He could feel his own hands disappearing and his body become light. "You better come fast, I will be waiting for you always!!!"
