Chapter 292 : The Four Beasts

Dong Hai was fast asleep at night, and the moonlight threw a shadow on his face; his hair appeared to be a reflection of the silver light, and Xiao Liu let out a contented sigh as she gazed at him; seeing him so calm warmed her heart. She wrapped her fingers around his silver lock, the bird chirped outside, and she frowned, sensing a presence, she gently slipped off the bed, cautious not to wake him up, and grabbed a dagger heading outside, alert she stepped out of the courtyard.

"That dagger would be useless, child,"

Xiao Liu closed her eyes as she heard Heavenly Father's words shatter her dream, and she turned to face him, defeat apparent in her eyes, but she refused to go down without a fight. She knew why he was here and she knew if he truly wants to take her, there is little she could do and she gave a brief glance, she could see Dong Hai peacefully sleeping.
