Creating an element.

Aaron is waiting to see the results of his 126th attempt on making a viable container for a special element that hasn't been discovered in this universe yet.

He is wearing all protective gears and all, the room temperature was hot AF.

This is his workshop for all the dangerous stuff.

He worked so hard and poured about 28 million dollars to make this workshop.

All the equipment on the workshop was made by himself.

In his previous life, Aaron was a genius magician.

In terms of magical theories, he is unparalleled.

He also learned many things besides magic.

People in this world thinks science and magic can't mesh together but they are so wrong in so many levels.

Science and magic? They complement each other.

In his previous life, with the help of the gods, science and magic ruled the whole universe.

It's funny they always thought they were on par but in truth, gods are absolute beings of the universe.

Still, humans were capable of many things with science and magic.

Aaron in his previous life at one point was hailed as a 'human god'.

But humans are creatures afraid and paranoid of each other.

Greed and jealousy of humans brought despair to him.

Well, that's all in the past no point talking about it.

But this, here Aaron is trying to create a new element.

With already existing elements on earth that he could find and use, Aaron, is trying to create a new element by synthesizing the elements with a method only he knows how to do it.

This is truly a miracle, as it is impossible to do it without magic.

But with his vast knowledge of magic and science? Aaron was able to do it.

He created equipment that could at least mimic the magic with science to create his element with ancient alchemy from his previous world.

A new artificial man-made element.

An element that he can use as a container for the special element that hasn't been discovered yet.

If people were to learn what he is trying to do?

They would surely laugh to death.

But if by chance he succeeds then he would be hailed as the greatest scientist to be ever born.

In the past few months, Ember has been slowly growing.

Everyone, including his sister Aurora, called him crazy for burning almost all the funds they had.

28 million is not an amount to burn for something that has the lowest possible chance of succeeding.

Still, Aaron was confident he could do it.

If he succeeds then 28m is nothing but pocket change.

After all, these are freaking elements that he is going to discover and create.

Even countries would kill for a piece of his 'shit'!!!

To be honest, he still needs more and better equipment here.

But he doesn't have money for f*ck sake!

Even a defective lower quality is better than nothing.

This room is the 2nd most dangerous room in this area.

He was looking at box-like equipment in front of him.

The equipment constantly reconstructs and deconstruct using ancient alchemy without magical interference, using modern technology to substitute magical tools.

Aaron created this equipment which will help his vision come true to life.

He only has seventeen seconds to mix them all up.

"It's almost time!"

He needs to do it fast and only will have a few seconds to mix them up.

Aaron mentally started a countdown.

He slowly approached the 'BOX'.

"3!"

"2!!"

"1!!!"

He opened the top of the box-like equipment and did his best he could.

10 minutes later,

Aaron picked up a tweezer and delicately picked up the small greyish piece of a new metal that he just created.

He looked around the room and sighed seeing the state of the room.

"All of the chaos, for just a piece of this?"

He stared at his new creation.

A piece of greyish metal, the size of it? It's roughly around 16mm.

He left the room to check to see this piece of metal, is a success or not.

5 minutes later, he found an answer.

"F*ck! I need more of it, it's still not perfect yet but at least it's something!!!"

Looking at the results Aaron couldn't stop grinning.

Picking up the piece of metal, Aaron was wondering what to name this new element of his.

But he couldn't come up with a good name.

Shaking his head, Aaron sighed and left the room.

Aurora feeling tired plopped down on the couch.

"You look like you're going to collapse! Is it too much? I thought they were doing great." Looking at the tired Aurora, Erisviel said showing concern for Aurora's health.

"It's almost Christmas, look at me working so hard. They are doing good but there is still a lot of work, you know. No one knows Nameless exists, the only one in Ember who knows about Nameless, are those who are part of Nameless. Nameless is still severely understaffed!" Aurora massaging her head replied to Erisviel.

"Even though Ember is currently under control, it's still a mess. I reckon it will take at least a year before we have it under control completely running the organisation smoothly. Where's Aaron?" Aurora said finished speaking about Ember and her work, she asked Erisviel about her brother's whereabouts.

"He is working at the workshop in the mountains-" Just as she was telling Aurora where Aaron is, she saw Aaron coming up from the corner of her eyes.

"Look! Speak of the devil and lo-behold he appears." Pointing to Aaron, Erisviel said to Aurora.

"You seem to be in a good mood?" Erisviel asked Aaron who just arrived near them.

"Is it too obvious? Haha, I just finished creating a new element!" Bragging obviously, Aaron showed Aurora and Erisviel the piece of metal he just made.

"Looks ordinary to me." Erisviel looked at the metal and replied.

"True." Nodding Aurora said.

"Well, it's because it's in this form. Wait till I make the reactor and have your minds blown. Hmpf!" Snorting Aaron said to the two of them.

"You look like s*it!" Looking at his sister Aaron commented.

"Aaron, I'm tired Af to beat you up. So shut up!! Get me a glass of orange juice, please" holding her head with one hand and massaging her neck with the other hand, Aurora said grouchily.

"So my parents are asking me if I'm doing anything shady or something. They are being careful and constantly ask me questions about what kind of work do I do."

Erisviel told her parents that she got a job when Ian was attacked and Aaron was kidnapped.

She told her parents It pays very well, and it's just a paid internship for now.

She also told her parents, she got the job because of her friends who are the prestigious Blood's.

So they didn't ask much before what kind of job, but lately, they have been pestering her.

Her first 'paycheck' after months and repeating a year was so much that her mother fainted on the spot seeing the amount written on the cheque.

100 thousand dollars were too much!

Erisviel thought it will shut their parents up but instead, it brought her many questions.

They even thought their daughter is the girlfriend of the heir of the Blood's.

'Mom, please! That idiot is too much for her.' Erisviel mentally commented.

Aurora hearing Erisviel made a painful groan.

"That reminds me of more work, f*ck!" Aurora tried to get up before Aaron stopped her.

"Take a breather, will you! Currently, I'm free so I will help. Don't work yourself too much, Aurora." Aaron said in concern.

Aurora looks like she will collapse at any moment.

"Where's Nyx btw?" Erisviel asked Aaron.

"She went back to country Z, this morning. She needs to meet with her aunt, you probably won't meet her until the new gears."

Nyx needs to talk with her aunt about her plans and Nameless recently found out that Lyle is planning something against her aunt.

So she had to leave for Country Y.

Giving Aurora her orange juice, Aaron stared at his sister.

"What is it?" Feeling uncomfortable by her brother looking, no, glaring at her. Aurora asked Aaron.

"The loan that we took from, mum. It's now over 6m."

"I know, I know! I already have started working on it with Timothy. Now all you need is to do your part." Grumbling Aurora replied to Aaron.

Aaron turned to Erisviel with a brilliant smile plastered on his face.

"This better be good!" Erisviel felt an eerie feeling on her stomach.

"It is! How about we start a technology company together, what do you think?"
