The Offer

I scream and try to run to him but I still can't move! The other me screams in the same way and rushes to Dad with tears running down her face. I struggle not to hyperventilate as I try to remain standing. Suddenly, more shots are fired!

Thane takes most of them, trying to protect the me that was still holding onto my dead father. A loud explosion rocks the whole Oasis. It's soon followed by screams of pain and terror. NO! No no no NOOOOOO! 

I scream, pulling at my hair with tears running down my face. The other me looks up towards the large cloud of smoke and chokes out "No... no!" Before running towards the house. Everything shifts and I see me pulling out my dead mother and brother. 

I collapse onto the ground, crying and sobbing, begging for it to stop as Thane pulls out what's left of the others. Suddenly, everything changes again and Thane and I are fighting Silas. I struggle to keep my heart beating as I watch the intense fight.
