Tim had been more shocked by that young man's words than he should have been because he  did know what his wife was like. He had been threatened into marrying her, after all.

He did his best to keep his affairs a secret but Stephanie had slipped through the cracks. After thinking she was dead because his wife's family tampered with the Rosells' car he had been burdened with guilt and determined not to have any more women on the outside that might fall victim to that possessive psycho.

He and Bianca had been living largely as strangers aside from public events since Leo was born. Now that there was an heir, there was no need to tolerate her nonsense up close anymore.

But after losing Stephanie and resolving not to involve anyone else in his affairs he had to get his needs fulfilled somehow. That was how Isabella ended up being born a few years later.
