TGP: A love letter arrived

"Kekk!" Liam was shocked when two arms suddenly hugged her shoulders.

But when the scent of orchids came to her nose, she calmed down.

It was Ren Shou.

Liam turned to look at him.

Ren Shou's face was so near as he put his chin on her shoulder.

"Wangfei." Ren Shou's manly voice with a tinge of hopelessness made Liam had goosebumps all over her body.

"Y-yes?"

Liam gulped as her naughty mind reminisced 'that' night.

Ren Shou stayed silent for a while. Then he decided to go to the flow to what Liam was saying.

"What are you planning tonight?" He asked this innocently without any embarrassment. He was just really plainly asking this.

Liam, who finally understood that she mistook those words gone red. What was she thinking?! Her dirty mind!

It was good that this man had a clean mind and innocent in these kinds of things. Though, he was not naive anymore, courtesy of Liam. If he knows, Liam would indeed feel embarrassed ten times more.

"Cough." Liam coughed to erase her embarrassment.

"I am planning for a great event. This was the first party that we will host. We only have few days left." Liam said.

"Oh." Ren Shou then peeked at Liam's writing in the table. He was still hugging her. Then he was stunned when he saw the drawings on the paper.

"Wow, Wangfei. You are a good artist. What is this? This is the first time I saw this." Ren Shou asked as she curiously looked at the drawing on the table.

"Fufufu~ these things would come alive at the party," Liam said mysteriously.

"A party?"

"Yeah, a party means a celebration," Liam explained.

"Hmm. That's the first time I heard it. Does that term come from your mother's hometown?"

Liam smiled while reminiscing the past.

"Hmm. You can say that."

Ren Shou looked at her.

"Wangfei."

"Hmm?"

"I...am treating you sincerely..are you treating me sincerely too?" Ren Shou's heart was beating fast. He was nervous.

Liam was taken aback by this question. She watched his beautiful dark eyes that have a tinge of slight tremble in them.

"Why are you suddenly asking that? Is something bothering you?" Liam asked this instead.

Ren Shou looked down and hugged her more.

"Wangfei, I...I am afraid you are siding with the emperor. Are you?"

Liam suddenly got it. Yeah, even she concealed it, Ren Shou would notice that the emperor was using her against him.

"Ren Sou."

"I promised you before that I will treat you kindly. And I don't break promises. Of course, I will treat my husband kindly than the emperor. Trust me, okay?" Liam smiled. She was serious.
