Loved [Jeon Jungkook]

He was the one you loved.

He was the boy with the ripped jeans and bleached hair. He was the one in a band, the one that had all those piercings. He was the one your mom told to avoid, yet you couldn't.

You were the girl with good grades. The one that had her life set out on a golden road. You were the one that had this idea of a perfect life; where you will find the perfect boyfriend, have a perfect wedding, a perfect family. But he, he entered your life and wrecked down those dreams, rebuilt his own, and you didn't bother stopping him.

The first meeting was at a party. You never thought you'd find yourself there, but peer pressure was a big thing. You thought it was like any other party. The one where you leave sober and go to class the next day with a smile.

But that's where you met him. The ripped jeans, the highlighted hair, the smirk that you have grown to love plastered on his face.

And it felt like there was a spark. But you knew it was nothing more than the alcohol buzz. Deep inside, you thought, and even if it was for a second, you thought he could be the one. He wrecked your idea of a perfect boyfriend, but he was more than perfect. He was what you always needed.

He was fun to hang around. Understanding when you needed him to be. The best friend you had. But that was all he could ever be, a best friend.

He was a heartbreaker. And you knew it. Yet you still wanted him. You smiled every time he talked about his latest hook up, thinking the next would be you, and that, just maybe, it would be more than "just a hookup."

It was a spur of the moment kiss. He showed up at your door, drenched from the rain, babbling how you couldn't leave his mind. And god, it felt good to hear the things you always wanted to hear.

It felt really freaking good to have him as your own. To know that you were the one on his mind, no matter what.

But that's the thing with heartbreakers. You don't know when they'll act. And you didn't think he would.

And it stung. Your heart felt like it was ripped apart. It was such a vivid image, despite the flashing lights and blaring music. Wrapped up with someone else in his arms, you ran out and cried.

And he did nothing to apologize. Until months later. But you were with someone else. You were back on track to your perfect life. And he wasn't part of it.

As you shut the door on him, unexplained tears fell. Because he was the one you loved. He was the one that made you the happiest. But he also gave you a heartache that no one else will.
