Chapter 7 - Twins

Its been a month and we were invited for the engagement party of one of the most powerful family in the East.

The Monteverde Clan. Hindi pa tinatayo ng mga lolo namin ang kompanya sa East nandito na ang mga Monteverde. They are the direct descendants of the King of the East, Monteverde clan are pure royal bloods of the East.

"Why are you sighing?" Blood asked. Siya escort ko ngayon mamaya pagdating nina Ariz at Luther kakalimutan din ako nito.

"I am worried for Scarlet I found out the bastard, he married her years ago and you know what currently his the youngest senator in the East"

"That so simple Rozen" I frowned. He grinned.

Blood snake his arms to Ariz waist I rolled my eyes.

"She's worrying on Scarlet" Blood said.

"Why?" Ariz asked.

"We found out na kasal sila nung Senator" I answered.

"Yung ama ng apat?" Napatango si Blood sa tanong ni Ariz.

"Afraid he might get some custody if he found out about them?" Luther asked.

"Yes" I answered honestly.

"Tsk. Just destroy the marriage certificate, pay those who might get involve" I grinned on Luther's idea. I like it.

"You're the best Luther" Napatingin ako sa paligid ko, everyone are looking at us. Oh nagtataka siguro sila kung bakit we were having a pleasant talks with the Grimalde, spread the news about us make sure people na aabot ito sa tenga ng mga walang hiya.

"Hi" Napalingon ako agad sa boses na yun, I felt excited ng marinig ang boses na yun.

"Raige" saad ko

"Dela Vega" si Blood and Luther. Nag Hi naman si Ariz didto. Ngumiti naman si Raige.

"Ayos ka na ba?" I nodded. He is really hot especially now na naka suit and tie siya. Shit I'm drooling. No! Rozen rendahan mo ang sarili mo gusto mo bang magaya sa pastlife mo na nagpakabaliw ka sa isang lalaki.

"That's good to hear" he gave me that panty dropping smile. Goodness. Heart! please. Pangalawang beses palang naming magkita why am I feeling giddy.

"Kumain ka na?" He asked, what are you doing Doctor Dela Vega?

"Not yet, its rude to eat lalo na at di pa nagsisimula ang event"

"No worries, let's go you can eat anything you want"

Napatingin naman ako sa mga kasama ko, nakataas ang kilay ng kapatid ko na nakatingin sa akin. Ariz is grinning while Luther wala na umalis na his talking to some businessmen.

"You can go ahead Rozen, Doc pwede mo na siyang isama don't let her eat to much sweets na hihigh yan" si Ariz.

"But-"

"Babe samahan mo naman ako dun sa may fountain I heard maganda daw dun" hinila na ni Ariz ang kapatid ko at iniwan ako kasama si Raige Dela Vega. Tiningnan ko ito and his smiling.

"Of course madadagdagan na naman ang magaganda sa lahi namin" I heard him chuckled dahil sa sinabi ko.

"Tara kain tayo" he said.

"Ikaw yata ang gutom eh" sabi ko, iginiya naman niya ako sa lugar kung nasaan ang mga pika pika foods.

He grinned. I do feel that he look sexy pang nagrigrin siya. Para bang may gagawan siyang kalokohan pag gumaganoon siya.

"Kaano ano mo ang e engage?" I asked. We shared one plate, hindi siya kumuha ng kanya, ako yung naglalagay ng food siya naman yung kain ng kain. Maid ba tingin nito sa akin?

"My twin"

"You also have a twin?" He nodded.

"Amazing, Blood is also my twin" He smiled I guess alam na niya.

"And his marrying my ex girlfriend" saad ko.

"What?" I almost whispered.

"Yez pero wala na akong feelings sa kanya pero hanggang ngayong galit pa rin ang kapatid ko sa akin" Nagtaka ako sa sinabi nito.

"Bakit naman?"

"Because I broke Jillian's heart, nagparaya kasi ang kakambal ko sa akin noon" I frowned. Of course sino bang hindi magagalit dun.

"You're a jerk" Sinamaan ko ito ng tingin.

"I know but I have reason atleast now I can see both of them being happy with each other. I really love Jillian dati kaya nga lang hindi siya ganoon ka lalim, everything fades if the right one appears"

"You found someone else? You cheated on her?" Mas sumama ang timpla ko.

"No! Of course not, I broke up with her the moment na, na sense ko na we were really not meant to be, if we are both devoted on each other bakit hinahayaan namin ang mga sarili namin na di magkita ng mga ilang buwan kahit pa halos magkapitbahay lang kami. Now tell me Rozen am I right?"

He has a point. Pero yung right one na sinasabi niya sino? Biglang sumikip ang dibdib ko.

"Yes but still you hurt her by the way whose the right one?" Raige look at me, Again para akong nawawala pag nakatitig sa mga mata niya.

"You guess" I gulped. Para bang may sinasabi ang mga mata niya.

"Raige? Anak?"

"Omg! Kuya! Nandito ka na!!!!"

Papalapit sa amin ang parents ni Raige, I heard na Ang Mom nila Raige ang galing sa Monteverde Clan.

"And Who's the lovely la- Oh I'm sorry Miss Rozen Allastre" Reyll Monteverde Dela Vega, a famous chef but also a cunning woman. My Mom told me once that the Seven heiresses of the Monteverde Clan are the weapons of the family. All of them were calculative and cunning kaya nobody dares to bully them.

"Mr and Mrs Dela Vega, Thank you for the invitation" I smiled to her. Nagkatinginan naman sila ng asawa niya si Mr. Raven Dela Vega halatang halata na mahal nila ang isa't isa, tinginan palang ng dalawa. Nakikita niya kasi iyon sa mga mata ng Mom at stepdad niya.

"I didn't know na magkakilala kayo pala kayo ni Raige, Raige its good to see you again honey" Miss Reyll said. Raige kissed the cheeks of her Mom and sister, his father hugged him.

"She's my patient mom" Raige said.

"Really patient? Di mo siya girlfriend?" What a mouth, I guess this is Rein Dela Vega, the famous Sports Analyst.

Nobody answered, I look at Raige. He grinned, goodness! May kalokohan itong naiisip.

"Both" Nanlaki ang mata ko sa sagot nito.

"Anak nga talaga kita!" His Father said. His grinning.

"Kaya pala kahit anong pilit namin dati na ipakilala ni Kuya yung girl kasi ikaw naman pala yun! Di ba you've been in the West for the past eight years?" Napatango ako sa sinabi ni Rein. Hindi ko maintindihan ang nararamdaman ko, there is something fishy sa tingin ni Rein at Mrs. Dela Vega.

"Eight years ago? Is she the rea-" Mrs.Reyll asked.

"Yes Mom" Raige cut her off. I can't understand what they were talking about. Rein look stunned and she smiled at me yung hindi umabot sa mata, that's a fake one now I'm convinced there's something wrong.

His Mom look at me, What did I do?

"Son can you see your brother?" His Father asked.

"Is there something wrong"Raige asked.

"Better to see it for yourself" Rein answered. Akala ko aalis na sila, I'm getting uncomfortable. I can handle them but parents sila ni Raige I can't be rude.

Nagulat ako ng hilahin ako ni Raige, we are walking behind with his parents and sister.

"What-"

"Just come with me" He whispered.

"Why did you say I'm your girlfriend, hindi naman tayo ganoon!" I said. Nagbubulongan kaming dalawa mahirap na marinig kami ng pamilya niya.

"Dun di naman papupuntahan natin" He smirked. I glared at him.

"My family will grilled you" I said

"I don't care" confident niyang sagot.

"We just met Raige, everything is too fast"

"So what? I need to claim what is mine! Mahirap na baka may iba pang makakuha" Nagulat naman ako sa sinabi nito. He is really serious. Yung puso ko tumalon sa tuwa. Mas lumakas ang tibok ng puso ko.

Raige is making me crazy.

"For the peace of your mind seryoso ako sayo at gusto kita" he said and kissed my head, inakbayan na ako nito.

"How sure are you na papayag ako?" I said with my witch side voice.

"Of course you'll agree, I always knew you'll agree" Mas kinabahan ako sa mga tingin ni Raige.

"Ayos lang ba kayo?" Napatingin kami kay Rein, nakatingin na pala sila sa amin.

"Yes we're good, we are just talking about her family, she always worry about them" Lies but at the same time true. I always worry about my family but that's not we're talking about, he lied about it.

"No! You should invite your brother!"

"Why? Do you still like him kaya gusto mo siyang nandito siya?"

"Of course not! What I want is magbati na kayo! Raige and I already move on from each other, magpapakasal ba ako sa iyo kung gusto ko pa rin siya?"

"You might just using me para mapalapit ulit sa kanya"

Yun ang mga boses na narinig namin. I guess the couple was having a fight.

"That was below the belt Rouge, masakit yun. Wag na lang kaya nating ituloy tu, wag nalang din natin ituloy ang kasal, its a mistake to gave you the chance" Nagkatinginan naman ang parents ni Raige. Papasok na sana ang parents niya ng pigilan ito ni Raige.

"Ako na bahala dito, umalis na muna kayo" Raige said to his family. Nagdadalawang isip man pero umalis din sila kasama si Rein.

Binuksan ni Raige ang pintu. The girl is sitting on the bed, tears are falling down on her cheeks. Masakit naman talaga yung sinabi nung guy.

"What are you doing here?"

"Raige"

Nanlaki ang mata ko ng makilala ang kambal ni Raige at ang fiancee nito.

"I'm so disappointed with you brother, our father treated our mother with so much respect, I let go Jillian because I learn from other Father but you? Do you really love her?"

"Damn you! Love? eh ikaw? You broke her hea-"

"I spared her for more heartbreaks kaya we broke up bat hindi yan pumasok sa isip mo, she gave you the chance why didn't you cherish her? you're giving her reason na ikumpara ka sa akin"

Natahimik ang kakambal nito.

"I'm not here because I am invited, I am here because I'm her escort" hinila ako ni Raige, nasa likod kasi ako nito. Napatingin sa akin ang dalawa mukhang ngayon palang nila nalaman na nandito ako sa harapan nila. The two are both shocked seeing me, of course magkakilala kami.

"Hi Rouge, Hi Jian" Napatingin naman si Raige sa akin.

"Kilala mo sila?" Nagtatakang tanong ni Raige sa akin.

"Highschool classmates" sagot ko, Raige would be furious pagnalaman niya ang kaugnayan ko kay Rouge.

"And she's Rouge sweetheart nung highschool" nanlaki ang mata ko sa sinabi ni Jillian.

"Jian!!" I said.

"Tell him the truth his much worse than Rouge" Jillian said. Napatingin ako kay Raige. Feeling ko lumalamig ang paligid, he look at me coldly.

"Its good to see you again Rozen, you're still beautiful as ever" shit ka Rouge.

"Not as beautiful as Jian, I broke up with you remember because of her, coz you love her! Jian wag mo ng pakasalan yan! Until now gago pa rin eh!" Nanlaki ang mata ni Rouge sa sinabi ko. I look at him coldly

"Jill I'm sorry! I didn't mean what I said, I really love you! Please"

Hinila ko palabas si Raige, medyo natatakot ako ng tumahimik ito.

"Raige"

"Is this a coincidence? Fate? You are my brother's ex girlfriend and his fiancee is also my ex girlfriend, What the hell!" I gulped. Ano ba ikinagagalit nito?

"Raige marami ka pang hindi alam sa akin if you really wan-" Nanlaki ang mata ko sa ginawa nito. Raige Dela Vega kissed me.

"I know! I don't understand pero nagseselos ako sa kapatid ko! Nagseselos ako na nauna ka niyang nakilala kesa sa akin! Now I understand what he feels everytime ma makita niya ako pagkausap si Jill!"

"Bat kasi hindi kayo magkasama ni Rouge sa highschool?" Na fufrustate kong sabi.

" I choose to study advance, pag dodoctor na ang nasa isip ko nung tumuntong ako ng highschool while Rouge choose to stay normal, kaya kahit pa his a fucking genius mas pinili niyang sumunod sa normal school system"

"Should I start to raise a war to the Monteverde's?" Napalingon kami ni Raige sa nagsalita.

Zenon Smith. I felt cold seeing the man I used to love.
