Level 22 Beast

In the meeting room, Seven persons were sitting around the table. All were wearing high-class clothes. In the centre, a 15 years old young man was sitting. He was wearing a plain white shirt tucked in the blue pants, he was wearing brown leather shoes. The young man was Xander King of the kingdom of Etherac. The other people sitting around the table were 4 Generals Reignald, Phinala, Warren, Noah, Commander Dye, and Aldith.

Xander spoke towards all the generals "So, how is going the training and protection of the kingdom."

Reignald spoke first "Your highness, Everything is going smoothly, just that..." After that Reignald became silent for a few seconds before speaking "It's just that the amount and attacking of Demonic beasts is increasing a few days. I don't know, for some reason It doesn't feel right."

Warren spoke quickly after Reignald "Your highness, the Same thing is happening for a few days in Northwest stronghold too."

Noah also nodded "It is also happening in Eastern stronghold too."

Xander put his right under his chin and started to think "That's weird that the beasts are increasing around all strongholds at the same time. I have a feeling that Something will happen in the future. Increase guards on the wall, don't drop your guard and remain active all the time. If anything happened to send me a notice immediately."

As they were speaking, a soldier suddenly barged into the room and saluted and directly went to Warren and whisper something in his ear. Warren's eyes slightly widened.

He looked at the soldier and asked to check that he didn't hear incorrect "Are you sure?"

The soldier nodded his head "A bird brought the message from Northwest stronghold."

Everyone was looking at Warren and observing his expressions.

Xander curiously asked "Warren, what happened? Is everything alright?"

Warren picked the glass of water and drank a mouthful of water to clear his throat "Your highness, everything is alright, it's just that yesterday a team went in the demon domain to kill demonic beasts. From North West stronghold they sent a message through a bird that today in the morning they found a unique tree. One of the soldiers picked one fruit from the ground and ate it. The thing is that the strength of the soldier suddenly increased by one level. Others didn't believe him, so they also tried and guess what?"

Phinala suddenly said, "Their strength also increased, right."

Warren nodded in agreement "By one level."

Everyone was stunned upon hearing Warren. Xander turned towards Phinala and asked, "Phinala, Do you know anything about this mysterious tree and fruit?"

Phinala replied to Xander's question "Yes your highness, I heard of this tree, It is called The Sacred Tree. My grandmother told me about this tree that if someone eats the fruit of this tree, he will become strong. I thought that it was just a legend but it is true."

Xander turned towards the soldier "How far is this tree from North West stronghold?"

The soldier replied in a slightly loud voice "It is not very far, It will take only an hour to reach there Your highness."

Xander asked him again " So how many fruits are there on the tree?"

The soldier immediately replied, "There are many fruits on the tree but.." After that he became silent.

Xander guessed that there is a problem, so he directly asked "What is the problem? just tell me, don't be afraid."

Soldiers nodded and said, "The only problem is that the tree was guarded by a beast who is equivalent to Rank F demonic beast."

"You said beast, not a demonic beast?" Xander curiously asked.

"Yes your highness, The beast is Tiger."

"Interesting" he fell in deep thought.

After some time, Warren spoke to Xander "Your highness, What should we do? Should I go and kill the beast?"

Xander came out of daze after hearing Warren's voice. He shook his head in refusal "No don't I will go and try to tame that tiger. If I succeed in taming tiger, then our strength will increase and if I didn't, I will kill it."

Everyone present nodded their heads.

Everyone packed their necessary things and weapons and went towards northwest stronghold. After continuously riding horses for 3 hours the walls began to appear. The walls were huge and wide. There was a huge castle built half to the inside of the wall and half to the outside of the wall. Soldiers were standing on the walls holding spears in their hands. and bows on their backs.

They went to a room to rest for some time. Then they took the soldiers who ate the fruit, with them. And directly went towards The Sacred tree.

After walking for an hour, they reached The Sacred Tree. When they went near the tree, a roar came from their right side.

Xander looked towards his right side. A large tiger was crouching on the ground. The beast was around 2 meters tall even when he was standing on his four legs. His single paw was as big as the thickness of humans. He slowly started to walk towards Xander and his group. Even the ground trembled when the tiger placed his paw on the ground. Xander his skill Status check to check the level of the tiger.

"This is Level 22 beast, Back off everyone and don't interfere," Xander ordered them.

Aldith wanted to refute but Dye lifts him on his shoulders and backed off slightly and sat under the tree to watch the fight. The rest of them followed them. Soldiers who didn't know the strength of Xander were slightly nervous.

On the other hand, Xander didn't take any weapons and stood in front of the tiger barehanded.

Suddenly tiger spoke stunning everyone present "Human you have trespassed my territory, Don't think of leaving in a single piece."

Xander came out of his bewilderment "Don't worry, I have come to tame you and making you my ride."

Tiger roared with laughter "You are good at joking, I haven't heard a good joke for a long time. You are first to challenge me, let's bet If you won I will become your mount."

Xander nodded "OK, I agree, then get ready to be defeated."

Tiger said in a mocking voice "We will see, barehanded you will regret in a few minutes to not use a weapon."

He took a boxing stance and lifted his left ankle, but his front foot was touching the ground. The tiger leapt forward and landed near Xander. Tiger rushed forward and lifted his claw to attack. The claw came at great speed, Xander leapt slightly backwards to dodge the Claw. The claw attacked the ground and made a slight crater on the ground.

Soldiers standing at the side were bewildered after watching the strength of the attack. One soldier whispered to another "Oi that tiger is so strong. Could you dodge that attack?" other soldier shook his head fiercely.

Tiger mocked Xander "Human, you are good at running."

Xander ignored Tiger's comment. After watching Xander ignoring him, Tiger became angry and again attacked Xander. Xander again dodged. Tiger sent a few barrages of attacks towards Xander, but he easily dodged the tiger's all attacks. This made tiger furious, he roared, and send his right claw diagonally towards Xander. Xander diverted the tiger's claw with his left forearm and simultaneously throw a punch towards the mouth of the tiger. The strength behind the punch was terrifying. The punch connected to the jaw of the tiger, which sent the tiger flying backwards for a few meters and the tiger crashed into a tree and broke the tree into two parts.

Tiger stood up and rushed towards Xander at great speed and leapt at Xander with a loud roar and swung his both claws on Xander from upwards. Xander lifted his both arms upwards and made his hands parallel to the ground. Both tiger's claw went downwards with great force, gravity also acted and increased the speed of attack. Xander caught both legs of the tiger, dirt around Xander went flying around due to air pressure created by Tiger attack.

Xander started to exert strength in his hands and started to push the tiger. Tiger was trying to retaliate, but couldn't as the difference of strength between Xander and Tiger was very vast. Xander lifted the tiger and swung his arms and threw the tiger towards the tree. Tiger crashed again with the tree. Xander leapt towards the tiger and made his fist to hit tiger, but as he reached near the tiger. tiger spoke in a loud voice "I surrender, I surrender, stop stop."

Xander stopped and stood near the tiger. The tiger stood up while stumbling.

Xander spoke to Tiger "From now on, you are my mount, Do you have any objection?"

Tiger slightly hesitatingly said, "OK OK, but you have to feed me."

"Don't worry, you can eat all you want," Xander said while moving towards the tree. He plucked one fruit and directly took a bite of the fruit and ate all of it. After eating the fruit, He suddenly got a message from the system of him levelling up.

He asked the system in his mind "System what is this tree?"

"[This tree is a type of few left world trees. The fruit of the tree can strengthen the body.]"

"OK, thanks for the information"

Xander turned towards others "This fruit helps to strengthen the body. pluck a few and eat them." Xander turned towards Warren "From now on this is your duty to pluck it at regular times and don't let anyone damage the tree and remove the fruits in large amounts. Just pluck a few of them at a time."

Then everyone went towards stronghold. The guards were fully vigilant and were looking around. suddenly one guard shouted, "look One beast is coming towards the wall."

Everyone started to look towards the beast. Suddenly someone shouted, "Look someone is riding the beast."

Everyone was bewildered upon seeing this scene. "Look he is our king Xander, he managed to tame such a beast."

Everyone started cheering and yelling in a loud voice. The whole North West stronghold burst out in cheering and welcomed them warmly.

After some rest except Warren, everyone returned to Etherac city. When they entered the city. People made a huge commotion after looking at the tiger entering the city, but after seeing Xander they quiet down. The news of Xander taming the beast spread in the whole kingdom and even Kingdom of Ocawyth.
