In Dark Souls, players would encounter all kinds of NPCs as soon as they arrived at Firelink sacrificial grounds, such as brother retreating, Rudolf, Firegirl, and so on. As the plot progressed, there would be more and more NPCs.

However, after playing for a while, old Qin realized that the hunter's dream in bloodline curse didn't seem to have new NPCs. There were only two people in the dream, German in the wheelchair and the doll lady.

However, after playing for a while, old Qin found that there was still a plot for the NPCs, but it was handled in a different way than in Dark Souls.
