Kaige's P.O.V.

"Summon the witch, I need her right now." Utos ko sa aking beta na agad naman nitong tinalima. Xavier nodded and walk towards the door of the office.

That girl Xyris is making me confuse, though her words give me an idea about her identity or my connection with her. I do not want to conclude without a formal confirmation.

She is a human for goodness sake but my wolf feels threatened with her presence. Something that is very unusual that I cannot just overlook and ignore.

"You summon me Alpha?" That voice made me look at the open door.

"Sit down." I offer as I take the picture of Xyris from the drawer of my table.

I put the picture in front of the witch. "I want you to tell me what you can say about the girl in that picture." Wika ko.

Mula sa mga mata ko at lumipat ang tingin ni Liya sa litratong nasa mesa. Kinuha nito ang litratong nakalapag sa mesa at tinitigan.

Her eyes changes its colour from the usual green to dark violet as she try to read the aura of the woman in the picture. Tumiim ang tingin ko kay Liya ng gumuhit ang mapaglarong ngiti sa labi nito.

"A human with a powerful aura, intriguing. I haven't meet a human with a serene yet powerful aura before. She's completely harmless yet I can feel a surge of energy coming from her, so powerful that I already doubt that if it is coming from a human." Wika nito.

Hindi ko naman maiwasan ang mapakunot ang noo sa winika nito. Interesting. "Are you saying that she is not a human?"

Mula sa litrato ay bumalik ang tingin ni Liya sa akin.

Umiling ito. "No, she is surely a human. That is something I can assure you but she is more than a human."

Her answer made me close my hand in a tight fist. Tumalim ang mga mata ko rito.

"What the fuck are you talking about?" I punch the table hard, creating a small crack in it. This whole thing is just making me impatient.

The witch just throws me a questioning look, totally unbothered with my outburst. She let out a smile and looks at me without a trace of fear.

"I guess you really do not want to know who this woman is. What you wanted to know is who she is to you. That is something that only you can answer Alpha." Her eyes held a mischief on it and I know she knew something, she just refuse to voice it out. "That woman, only you have the eyes to identify who is she for this pack."

I look at her with despised as she stands up from her seat. I wanted to force her to talk but I know even if I point a gun in her head she won't open her mouth.

I watch her walk away towards the door while I remain on my sit with a heavy heart.

Her words probably does not contain the information that I wanted to hear but it enough to send my mind in tremors. It just makes everything complicated.

Tumiim ang mata ko habang nakatitig rito. I thought consulting a witch will make things a little bit clearer but it seems that it only make everything more clouded that before.

"Be careful around her Alpha, after all it was prophesied that a human are destined to destroy this pack." My heartbeat stop at her words. I look at the door but to my dismay the witch is already out of my sight.

Give it to Liya to irritate and threaten me at the same time. Why did I called that witch anyway?

"Xavier." I called out to my Beta who is waiting outside the door. "I need you to assign to warriors that will keep an eye to that woman, I wanted to know everything about her. I want the full report tomorrow!" I seethed.

I do not like her presence in my island. I need to know if she is something that I need to get rid of immediately.

In my squinted eyes. I can see the confusion on my beta's face. "I did not mean to disrespect or anything alpha, however, I don't think this woman deserves this kind of attention. Though she is friend with Brandon but so what? This is not the first time that a wolf is having friendship with a human."

Kumuyom ang kamao ko sa tanong nito. "I know, but the fact that she manages to makes my wolf edgy with her presence is something that I can't just ignore." Tiim bagang na wika ko. I need to know who she it.

The next day

"Take a look at that. It seems that this woman is more than just a human after all." Wika ni Xavier habang nilalapag sa harap ko ang isang folder na naglalaman ng resulta sa pagpapaimbestiga ko kay Xyris.

Kinuha ko ang folder at saka ito binuklat. Tumiim ang mata ko sa mga larawan nito kasama ang Alpha mula sa Bloodpaws pack.

From the looks of it, they seems too close that I can't help but question her relationship with him. Is she his friend or are they lovers?

Sa isiping iyon ay tila may kamaong dumaklot sa puso niya. The pain is short yet it was so intense that he needed to held his breath for a second.

Xavier must notice his struggle for breathing that he looks at him with concern. "Somethings wrong Alpha?"

He gather himself and close the folder. He shook his head and turn to look at him. Why is he so affected about her relationship with Alpha Raven anyway?

"Make sure that there is a packwarrior that's keeping an eye on her while she stays on this island." Matiim kong wika.

Though Bloodpaw pack is not an enemy, it doesn't mean that she is not.

She is a human and the fact that my wolf felt anxious around her it means one thing for him and his pack, a threat.

"Do you think she is the really one that the old witch prophecied about?" Tanong ni Xavier na nagpakuyom sa kamao ko.

I hope not, though I feel threatened with her presence. That doesn't mean I wanted to see her on the other side of the battlefield opposite to mine. I just want her to leave the Island as soon as possible to get rid of this unexplainable feeling that's clawing me from the inside everytime that she is near.

"Maybe or maybe not, however regardless of who she really is. I want to make sure that she will not bring harm to this pack or our pack members."

I stand up from my seat and open the blinds that's covering the windows. In my sharp eyesight, I can see a woman carelessly playing with the waves in the far distance. She was laughing carelessly with that Beta from the Red eclipse pack. Hindi ko mapigil ang pagkuyom ng kamao habang nakatitig sa mga ito. For some reason, something inside me constricts by seeing her happy with other man.

Tila isang eksena sa pelikula na bumalik sa ala-ala niya ang gabing pinili ni Brandon ang kamatayan kapalit ng puso ng kapatid niya.

Disrespecting their rules and attempting to kidnap his little sister is an unforgivable crime to their pack. As a punishment, he challenge him to death in exchange for his sister's hand. Brandon was almost good as dead when he left him in that rocky shore. Imagine their shock the next morning seeing Brandon with that woman looking so lively without any memories of the tragedy that had happened.

What makes them more confused is the fact that his sister suddenly recognize her bond with Brandon while Brandon looks clueless about the matebond. Everything happened in just one night and it's just a perfect timing that Xyris mysteriously appeared the next morning with Brandon beside her.

He can't help but question her sudden appearance and associate her with the 'wierd' things that's happening.

Though she looks so innocent with her goddess like beauty but that's exactly what makes me edgy. She looks too innocent and too perfect to be true. Just like what old saying goes, if it is too good to be true, maybe because it ain't true.
