Chapter 102 - Pregnant

Just like that, their 4-day trip to Melbourne is over. Jenna and Mark will be catching an early morning flight back so they can spend New Year's Eve back home.

"Can you not stay until New Year here?" Pursing her lips, Pam is trying hard to pursue the couple to stay with them.

"We planned for something, let's celebrate together next year." Even this Christmas celebration is something they just decided last minute after Tim requested the two.

"Bro looks like your presence alone is not enough to keep your wife happy," Mark teased.

Tim sighed, " I might as well join you guys back."

Pam glared at him. After New Year she will be alone once more. She was used to be living by herself but after getting back with Tim her daily life misses having him around.

"I was just joking My Queen."

On New Year's Eve the couple booked for the same restaurant at Darling Harbour to watch the countdown.

Pam looked at the fireworks with eyes sparkling. This is probably the best Christmas and New Year she ever had. She spent most holidays sleeping at home.

"The fireworks is awesome! Happy New Year Hubby! I wish to spend the rest of my life enjoying festive feelings like this with you." Pam gave Tim a kiss on his cheeks.

Tim gently whispered, "Happy New Year My Queen! I love you and I look forward spending New Years with you until our last breath."

Tim lowered his head to give Pam a kiss on her lips. It's their first new year together as husband and wife, hopefully next year he won't need to travel just to be with her.

Tim spent 2 more days with Pam before going back. The even before his flight they cuddled and spent the whole day together in the apartment. As if there will be no next time, Tim has spent the long night making love with Pam. It is almost 1am in the morning when he stopped pounding on her.

Despite being exhausted, Pam managed to wake up before 6am. She wanted to prepare breakfast for Tim who is still sound asleep with his arms resting on her chest cupping one of her breast. She slowly lifted his arms off her and put on her shorts and tank top.

She checked her phone on the side table, and made sure the alarm is turned off so as not wake up Tim. When she placed her phone back she has accidentally touched Tim's phone which was side by side her phone. It lit up. There were 2 unread messages on his chat app and it caught her attention. The sender is Lissy.

She was torn whether to read the message or not but she is curious. She looked back at Tim, he is still sleeping soundly with half of his body covered by the quilt. His toned muscles in his upper body is exposed.

Pam opened the Chat, judging by the time it was sent, it's midnight in Singapore timezone.

Lissy: Tim I need to talk to you.

Lissy: I am pregnant...

Her hands immediately froze. Her heart is beating so fast. She immediately marked the messages back to unread and locked the phone.

Her mind went blank and when she felt movements from Tim, she immediately walked out of the room afraid that he would see her shocked facial expression.

'Why did she sent that message to Tim? Is Lissy pregnant with Tim's baby?' Her palms remained cold as ice. Without noticing, tears rolled down on her face.

There were so many questions in her head. When did he got her pregnant? Was it before they were married? Did he cheat on her? There were pin like pains in her chest. She rushed to to the bathroom and compose herself. Today, Tim is going back home. Should she confront him? All the happy things that happened in the past days melt on an instant. Her heart is filled with sadness and fear.

She decided to keep her self busy with breakfast preparation. She will see Tim's reaction when he wakes up.

She prepared a simple breakfast of pancake and coffee, she lost the energy to cook what she originally planned. It's almost 7am, she took the courage to wake Tim up. His flight is at 11am

he should be leaving by 9am.

With no sign of Tim, Pam went back to the room to wake him up. Tim was like a Greek God laying down peacefully. Pam stared at his handsome face before sitting on the edge of the bed. She gently tapped him, "Tim..." Suddenly her nose became sour. Calling him made her want to cry. She called him once more, "Tim wake up.."

She was suddenly pulled and fell on his chest. Because he is naked, she felt how warm his body is. "10 minutes My Queen..." Tim held her tightly.

Pam could no longer suppress her emotion, tears rolled freely on her face and it reached his chest. Tim felt the his chest getting wet which alerted him. "Are you crying?"

Pam could only bit her lips to avoid sobbing hard. What if he got Lissy pregnant?

Tim sat making Pam sit on his lap. "Why are you crying? Tell me."

Pam could not exactly say why, she is lonely, sad and scared. Lonely because in few hours from now she will be on her own. Sad because as he leaves today, she doesn't have the courage to know how what happened between Tim and Lissy. Scared that the baby is really Tim's. She chose to lie, "I know this is coming but I can't help but cry."

Pam gathered all her courage to put a brighter front with Tim. "Get up and have breakfast." She tried to pull him up and realize it was not a good idea because he is naked down there too.

"Oh no!" Pam turned around. "Put your clothes on, let's have breakfast."

Tim lips curled up. He put on his clothes and followed Pam out. It's hard for him to see her cry, if only he can bring her back with him. Tim is clueless of the other reasons why she cried.
