Yun was covered in blood as was his spear when he turns to Dian Wei who was right beside him covering his back also covered in the blood of their enemy while a brown aura surrounded him.
"You have improved quite a lot Dian Wei," says Yun as he strikes another soldier down with a bloody smile on his face.
"What do you mean?" asks Dian Wei not understanding the compliment his Lord and friend gave him.
"When we first met you could only generate a small amount of Qi around your body unconsciously while now you can fully control it," says Yun praising the person he trusts his life on.
"I had to learn fast or I wouldn't be able to enjoy my life with such a reckless master that I am following," says Dian Wei joking as his pike split a man in two.
Yun looked in the direction of his brother seeing him have the time of his life as he brought carnage over the enemy using his spear while Zhang Liao and Guan Yu assisted him.
The army soon dispersed when Yun noticed a second one approaching from the southwest. Yun braced himself for another battle as he hold his spear tighter in his hands.
"Dian Wei, are you ready to follow into death?" asks Yun with a smile on his face while looking at his bodyguard who only sighs at him.
"Just lead the attack I will always follow you into battle," says Dian Wei knowing full well that he won't be able to change Yun's mind.
They ride southwest towards the incoming army when they see a blue banner with 'Cao' written on it, making Yun decelerate Thunder since the incoming army was an ally and not the enemy that tried to flank them to help Yan Liang.
"Hold!" shouts Yun stopping the attack as they now approached the army slowly.
Yun was carrying his banner on his back showing who he was to the army when he sees familiar faces riding toward him.
It was Cao Cao, Xu Chu, and Xun Yu that approached Yun and Dian Wei. They seemed surprised to see Yun at Boma since he should be in the east making sure that the Xu Province didn't fall into the enemy's hands.
"What are you doing here, General Zhao? Shouldn't you be capturing the Xu Province and defend the weakened Province," says Cao Cao with a bit of surprise in his tone.
"Xu Province is almost taken back. Zang Ba is dealing with the remaining Commandery that still defies your rule," says Yun catching Cao Cao's and Xun Yu's curiosity.
"One Commandery is defying my rule?" asks Cao Cao not truly believing it.
"It is all a ploy to keep me in Xu so I wouldn't be able to return and Yuan Shao would have an easier time in battling against you," says Yun informing Cao Cao and the others.
"Is your army also around?" asks Xun Yu making already plans since they would have the upper hand if Yun's army was around.
"Now, I rode with five men out to get here in time. My army will need at least another month for it to get here but my reserve army that was stationed in Puyang should arrive in five days," says Yun knowing that his troops still needed some time to arrive.
Xun Yu seemed disappointed since he thought that they were outnumbering Yuan Shao now only to find out that isn't the case. Xu Chu on the other hand was surprised that Yun destroyed the enemy's formation with only six riders.
"Who are the other riders, except for Dian Wei?" asks Xu Chu wanting to know which warriors are this crazy to follow Yun into a death trap.
"Lu Bu, Zhang Liao, Guan Yu, and my brother Zhao Hua. Guan Yu became a Commander under my leadership after surrendering to me at Xiapi. He asked to join me on the battlefield and I allowed it," says Yun as Cao Cao was holding his chin before passing his hand over his beard.
"Liu Bei's brother, I am quite surprised that he became your Commander instead of following his brother," says Cao Cao as it picked his interest since he heard good and bad things about Guan Yu, mostly good things.
"Let us just say that I have an object that he is trying to protect," says Yun sounding mysterious to the other trio not wanting to reveal the truth behind everything.
"Fine by me, we can use every able body to defend against Yuan Shao, and if he wants to help he is welcomed," says Xun Yu seeing Guan Yu joining them as an enrichment opening his arms wide to welcome him without suspicion.
"Just as Xun Yu just said, he will be an enrichment for this battle," says Cao Cao still suspicious about how Yun managed to convince Guan Yu to serve him.
Cao Cao would do many things to get a Mighty General like Guan Yu since the only two Generals he has that could be on the same stage would be Cao Ren and Xiahou Dun.
Yun could see greed in Cao Cao's eyes which could mean many things but for Yun this meant danger. If Cao Cao gets jealous of him because of his current roster of Generals and Commanders, he could become a target of Cao Cao who would try to assassinate him.
Yun was worried even if it wasn't for himself. He was quite invulnerable thanks to his Dragon Skin but his family wasn't and everyone knows his Achilles Heel which is his precious daughter, Mulan.
Nobody knows how far Yun would go if something happened to his daughter because of someone's ploy but all close to him know that if something were to happen to his daughter he would paint the ground red until life slips his body and only a lifeless shell is left behind.
Cao Cao knows that as well since he felt small amounts of killing intent coming from Yun when he proposed a marriage between Cao Pi and Mulan back then after New Year.
"Anyway, we should be satisfied that you returned to help us fight against Yuan Shao," says Cao Cao hiding his greed again.
Yun only played dumb while smiling at Cao Cao while saying, "I am glad that I could be of some use."
Cao Cao turns to Xun Yu and tells him to order Yue Jin to evacuate the city while Yu Jin defends it with them until every civilian has left it.
Yun ordered his riders to enter the city and to rest since they would be fighting again soon enough while half of the enemy army surrendered while the other half either dispersed or laid on the ground dead.
They were taken into the city on Cao Cao's order since they could be used as bait by leaving them tied up behind in Boma while they escape with the civilians. This would make Cao Cao look like a righteous person since he didn't abandon his people.
A brilliant plan made by Xun Yu to increase Cao Cao's popularity among the people while Yu Jin and Yun began to tie up the surrendered soldiers. Three days passed and the people had successfully escaped Boma with Yue Jin's support while Yun and Yu Jin continued with Xun Yu's plan.
They placed the surrendered soldiers on the wall between some banners which represent Cao Cao making them look like they are his soldiers. Yun could see another army approaching Boma and he went to see Xun Yu.
"Another army is approaching Boma. It must be reinforcement for Yan Liang," says Yun knowing that Cao Cao couldn't have a second army coming to Boma since he split his troops already to defend the Yan Ford and Boma.
"It could be your father and brother-in-law," says Xun Yu since Yun informed them before that his relief army was coming to help.
"Impossible, if it were them, they would have approached us from the east and not the north. It must be Yuan Shao trying to take Boma," says Yun knowing full well that his father would never come from the north but the east or south to not confuse them.
"Then we should continue with our plan and use the prisoners as bait while we flee the city. It should give us enough time to slip away unnoticed," says Xun Yu as he looked at Yun.
"It won't be believable enough. I will stay here with my riders and become their bait. You all leave. If they follow you instead we will fall into their rear and pincer attack them. That should weaken Yuan Shao even more since one of his mighty generals is dead," says Yun as he turned to Cao Cao wanting to hear his decision.
"We will do it your way. General Zhao will be staying here and try to attract the enemy from us while we retreat to Guandu," says Cao Cao giving Yun the order to stay.
They both knew that Yun and his riders could outrun the enemy if it came hard to hard and they needed to flee the battlefield.
Cao Cao left Boma with his troops leaving only Yun and his riders behind making Yun stand on the top of the wall when he sees a black eagle circling in the sky to the east.
'It seems, they have finally arrived,' thinks Yun as he would recognize said black eagle anywhere since it was Shadow.
Yun sees the enemy army approaching and he pulls his bow and quiver out of his ring before placing an arrow on the bow and pulling on the string of it. He focuses and remembers Hou Yi's training and began to surround the arrow with Fire Qi when an Aura appears behind him looking exactly like Hou Yi's.
"Sun Piercing Arrow," says Yun cold as he releases the arrow using the exact same technique that Hou Yi taught him first.
The arrow flew towards the enemy army with enormous speed before hitting the ground in the middle of the enemy army formation. At first, nothing happened but a second later the whole array seemed to have been engulfed in flames while a crater appeared around the arrow.
"This attack should have taken care of at least five percent of the enemy army. Maybe I got some high-ranking officer as well," says Yun to himself as he put the bow and quiver away again before joining the others.
