Yun returned to the inn while clapping the dust off his clothes from suplexing Gan Ning into the ground when Diao Chan says, "It seems you found another henchman."
"Yes, he is quite rash for his age," says Yun as he sits down beside her again.
"You really defeated him," says Ren not believing what she just saw as Yun ordered another plate of dumplings.
"He was quite easy to defeat. Once he heard my name he shit his pants and tried to bail his way out of the fight but he found out the hard way that it wasn't possible any longer," says Yun as the servant arrived with another plate.
Yun began to eat again when Dian Wei returned and says, "My Lord, I think you went too far on the poor boy."
"He will survive it," says Yun as he thought that if Gan Ning was tough enough to pillage, he should be able to endure his suplex.
After some time a messenger arrived at the inn saying, "I am looking for General Zhao."
The Innkeeper points towards Yun's table and the messenger walked toward them and Yun sees him approaching.
"Darling, how about you and Ren go to your room with the kittens, while I deal with this," says Yun as this was a code word Yun gave them.
"Right, we will meet later," says Diao Chan who looked at Ren.
Ren nods before standing up. She and Diao Chan went up to the rooms but Ren walked into the room of Huang Zhong to warn him that Huang Xu shouldn't leave his room since Liu Biao's men were in the inn.
But that didn't stop Huang Zhong to leave the room to join Yun while Ren stayed behind in the room to look after Xu.
The messenger was sitting across from Yun when Huang Zhong joined Dian Wei who was standing behind Yun.
"Master Liu wants to inform you about the recruitment that will be happening tomorrow in the morning in your honor. He will be awaiting you there," says the messenger as he could feel Huang Zhong's glare at him.
He stands up and wanted to leave after delivering Yun the message when he hears, "I want the recruitment to begin before the sun rises. I want to see how disciplined the people that try to join my army are. If they don't appear I won't need them."
"I will inform, my Master," says the messenger as he leaves the Inn.
"Why are we holding the recruitment this early?" asks Dian Wei confused.
"He wants to see how serious they really want to join the army. Most just join by impulse because they want to earn some prestige and learn the hard way that the war is over," says Huang Zhong informing Dian Wei.
"The war is still not over. The Middle Plains are still under little skirmishes against the Yellow Turbans even with their leaders dead," says Yun talking about the skirmishes that are happening around the middle plain.
"Also, I want people that are desperate to join the army. They are the most loyal since they mostly join to feed their family," says Yun as he tells them to take a seat across from him.
"Also, I don't care if my soldiers are women as long as they can carry their weight," says Yun which surprised Huang Zhong and Dian Wei.
"That would be dangerous. What if they get captured? I don't want to imagine what will happen to them," says Huang Zhong seriously.
"That is one of the risks every woman in a war-torn country has to fear when the enemy invades. I won't lie to you but sometimes they are more competent than men," says Yun as he finished his plate.
"We will meet tomorrow before the sun rises. Also, Dian Wei, we need another horse for Gan Ning," says Yun as he leaves them to find Diao Chan.
"Gan Ning, the Pirate!?" says Huang Zhong as he looked at Dian Wei since his lord left them.
"Poor boy was rammed into the ground by Yun. I had to carry him into our room," says Dian Wei as Huang Zhong was a bit surprised by that revelation.
Yun enters Diao Chan's room finding her laying on the bed with the kittens playing around the room when Diao Chan asks, "Ren, how about we go into the city and get you some new clothes?"
"You want to buy Ren some new clothes but not your husband," says Yun as Diao Chan lifted her upper body and sees Yun instead of Ren at the door.
"I thought this was the women's room until we leave Xiangyang," says Diao Chan surprised and excited.
"Can't I see my future wife?" asks Yun as he moved toward her.
She sits up and Yun sits beside her when he looks at her face and says, "I still have to resist you for a while longer but *kiss on her mouth* that doesn't mean I can't spend time with you. We will be leaving tomorrow at midday."
Yun continued to kiss Diao Chan as Diao Chan didn't resist falling backward onto the bed with Yun over her still dressed because if he were to take his shirt off he wouldn't be able to control himself.
Diao Chan loved it when Yun would only concentrate his whole attention on her as they continued kissing each other until she hugged him and whispers lowly into his ear, "Stop or I won't be able to control myself."
This made Yun want to rip her and his clothes off but he decided against it as he just hugged her back before laying beside her and hugging her from behind while whispering, "If we have a child what do you think it will be?"
"A Boy most likely," whispers Diao Chan as she turns around to face him.
She laid her head against his chest when she continues, "But I don't really care as long as you love me and our child."
"Always," says Yun as he kisses her forehead when they fall asleep like that.
Ren was returning to her room since it was late when she finds Diao Chan and Yun sleeping in the same bed with their clothes on showing her their love as Yun seemed to not want to let go of Diao Chan even in his sleep while Diao Chan was the same hugging her future husband while the kittens were sleeping near their feet.
She wanted to leave the room when Yun whispers, "Go to bed, Ren. You need to rest."
This surprised Ren as she thought Yun was asleep when she asks lowly to not awaken Diao Chan, "How did you know, my Lord?"
"I was at war remember. I sleep lightly ready to attack at any moment when I hear a noise that shouldn't be there. Now go into your bed and sleep," whispers Yun to her as she did as ordered while she sees Yun had his eyes still closed.
The next day didn't arrive yet and Yun stood up from the bed without waking the kittens and Diao Chan. He leaves the room and was walking out of the inn while almost everyone was still sleeping when he walks towards the Liu Manor.
He arrived there and knocks against the wall beside the door. A servant who seemed to be half-asleep as he opened the door.
"General Zhao, the Lord will be ready at any moment," says the servant as he yawned while guiding Yun into the main hall.
There Yun sat down on his knees waiting while circulating his Qi through his body trying to improve his body every free second he has when a sleepy Liu Biao entered the room.
"*yawning* Good morning, General Zhao. I did as asked of you and told the recruits that we would meet them on the training ground," says Liu Biao while yawning again.
"Then we should meet them right away. I want to see the people standing there," says Yun as he learned one thing in the Warriors Realm it was that discipline is the law to become a great warrior.
Yun and Liu Biao walk towards the training ground and find only three people standing there already when Yun sees them he only says, "I want those three. What are their names?"
The General that took over for Huang Zhong takes the list and goes through it when he says, "Wen Xu, Wen Xi, and Wen Yu. They are brothers from the same family."
Yun walked in front of them and says, "It seems the other recruits thought that this was a joke and stayed in bed."
The brothers stood still in front of Yun when he says, "Well, they seem to have lost their chance to enter my army. You three will be going to Zhending with your families. Once there you will look for a man named Tang Shi. He will know what to do and welcome to the Deathseekers."
"Thank you, sir," say the three brothers as Yun turns to the newly appointed general.
"I don't need more people. The others that didn't attend can join your Lord," says Yun as a boy far too young to become a recruit was spying on them.
Yun noticed him and looks in the direction of the boy and signalizes the boy to come toward him. The boy came forward. He was about twelve years old with black hair and dark brown eyes.
"Who are you and why are you here?" asks Yun as he was curious who the boy was to come to the training ground this early.
"My name is Wei Yan," says Wei Yan with confidence in his eyes making Yun smile at the boy when he continues, "I heard that the Lord was recruiting people and wanted to enter but I am too young to join the army."
"You are indeed too young to become a soldier but how about becoming my squire. Once you are old enough you can join my army," says Yun petting Wei Yan's head.
"What is a squire?" asks Wei Yan innocently making Yun laugh out loud.
"I am asking if you want to be my student," says Yun with a smile on his face.
"You are really strange why not ask that in the first place," says Wei Yan as Yun looks at the boy.
"You still haven't answered me," says Yun as Wei Yan goes to his knees.
"I will be your student," says Wei Yan when Yun helps him up.
"You can kneel once you are a soldier in my army until then you will stand tall and only bow to your superior but never kneel," says Yun to Wei Yan who stands and bows to Yun instead.
"Good, where is your family?" asks Yun as Wei Yan scratches his head.
"My mother is in a village near the city. I entered the city yesterday with all the other recruits making the guards think that I was the child of one of them that wanted to see the city," says Wei Yan making Yun smile again.
"We will get your mother. My wife could use some extra hands," says Yun as he picked Wei Yan up and placed him on his shoulder before meeting Liu Biao who was waiting for Yun near the entrance of the training ground.
"You found your recruits?" asks Liu Biao as Yun nods.
"Yes, but they are only three," says Yun as Liu Biao notices Wei Yan on Yun's shoulder.
"And who is this young man?" asks Liu Biao warmly.
"He is Wei Yan, he will be my student," says Yun as Liu Biao was surprised.
"Oho, you are a lucky boy then. To be the student of General Zhao Yun, The General Who Pacified the North," says Liu Biao as he sees Wei Yan's eyes open wide in surprise when he looks at Yun.
"It seems you haven't told him who you are," says Liu Biao to Yun who smiles.
"He only needed to know that I was his master but since the cat is out of the bag," says Yun as he left with Wei Yan.
Liu Biao sees Yun leave when he enters and finds his newly appointed general and asks, "How many has he recruited?"
"Three men, my lord. They aren't the best of the recruits and would be under the worst recruits I have seen before," says the general making Liu Biao think about why Yun chose those three men.
"The others should begin training with the others right away," says Liu Biao as he returned to the manor while overthinking Yun's decision.
