Astares Family...Beginning Of An End

The day of the Astares dinner arrived as Belen was standing in front of the table when she looked to her right to see "Mabel, Iris…" she turned to her left, "my mom and dad, they came," she inwardly sighed.

Surprisingly enough, each member came dressed formally and sensing from Belen's perspective, they all looked uncomfortable with each other's presence. 

"I bet it's been a while since they spoke. Oh well, this dinner isn't for me. I'm doing it for Noah."

Before she could speak, Ernestina asked, "why did you invite us all here tonight, Belen? Is there something important you want to tell us?"

Edilberto was silent, but his presence brought down the mood as he kept glaring at Mabel and Iris.
