The Time is Right

In the next few days, Tyler maximized his remaining stay in Beijing. He brought Chevre and Brie to school and fetched them afterward, bringing treats for Brie every single day. This, of course, did not go unnoticed in Tian Chen's eyes.

Realizing that Brie had not sought out for him, he approached her to have a sincere talk and she naturally gave him the time, knowing that he deserved it.

They both took the chance to chat on the school grounds during lunch. He asked, "So, Brie. Does this mean there will be no second date?"

Brie looked down for seconds and said, "No, Chen. I'm sorry. In as much as I think you are such a great guy. I can't help it, I've liked someone for such a long time that I can't find myself liking anyone else."

"That guy  - the white guy I see picking you and Chevre up these past few days?" Tian Chen asked in dismay.

Brie nodded. "Yes. He is my best friend, and he came from the UK for a quick visit."
