Elite Four

The next match was against Bruno, the fighting type master. He was all brawn and no brains. All the ladies loved his body, but once they got to know him, they had other thoughts as they thought that he was training too much and didn't have enough time for them. So, he always stayed single to focus on his training. Gary and Ash had no problem against him as they won their battles without any flaws. But before that, Kong had fought a hard battle, and eventually, when he was pushed to the edge, he decided to poison the whole room, causing Bruno and his Pokémon to faint.

The referee didn't have time to put up a barrier, so a little bit had gotten out. Bruno was caught off guard causing him to pass out as he lost the battle. It took a whole day before they were able to move on to the next match, and by the time it was Liam's turn, Bruno. I was discouraged after losing three games in a row. When he saw Liam come in, he was a little excited because he knew Liam was keen and wanted to face him for the longest time. They greeted each other as the referee started the battle.

Bruno sent out his Onyx while Liam sent out Tyranitar. Bruno got excited as he ordered Onyx to use rock throw. Onyx started throwing rocks at Tyranitar, but Tyranitar simply ignored the acts as he charged in and used Shadow Claw on Onyx. Onyx dodged it and used Tailwhip to lower Tyranitar's defense. After that, Onyx used Tackle as he slammed into Tyranitar. Tyranitar also countered with a Tackle as they both slammed into each other, trying to out-muscle each other. Bruno loved this kind of battle because he was more of a physical fighting guy. So, all the other matches that he had fought did not interest him since they were all using his weakness against him, which was psychic and flying types.

Bruno had a lot of respect for Liam, who was using physical Pokemon, to have a physical fight. They continued to trade blows until Onyx didn't have it in him anymore as he fainted from a Shadow Claw attack that had landed a critical hit. Even though Bruno had lost the first round, he was still excited as he returned Onyx and summoned his next Pokémon, Hitmonchan. Hitmonchan came out pumped. Hitmonchan threw punches in the air, trying to air box. Liam had been given time to talk with Tyranitar and permitted him to go wild in this match.

Liam told him that he could do as he pleased as he used any move he wanted and started attacking any way he needed to attack to get the win. He hadn't let loose in a while, so given this opportunity, he was not going to let it go. Hitmonchan used an ice punch, trying to take advantage of Tyranitar's weakness. This time Tyranitar surprisingly dodged it as he used Hyper Beam to blast Hitmonchan away. Hitmonchan struggled to get back up while Tyranitar still wasn't letting up. He used Body Slam on Hitmonchan. As he took a lot of damage and had fainted, Tyranitar was the winner of the second round.

At this point, Tyranitar was getting tired but looked like he still had a lot of energy in him. Bruno also summoned his next Pokémon, Hitmonlee. Hitmonlee came out kicking with a Double Kick knocking Tyranitar back. It was a sign that Tyranitar had taken a lot of damage due to his weak fighting types. Tyranitar was breathing heavily and on his knees. Tyranitar activated his devil type as he gained a lot of energy back and had changed his appearance slightly with horns coming out the side of his head. Tyranitar had gotten a significant boost as he got up shooting flames out of his mouth. He aimed the torches towards Hitmonlee.

Bruno was happy because he thought that he was finally able to tire Tyranitar a lot, not knowing Tyranitar had an extra boost of power, which made him slightly excited. He told Hitmonlee not to hold back as they both charged at each other. Hitmonlee used a high jump kick as he struck Tyranitar right in the chin, making Tyranitar lift off the ground a little bit. Hitmonlee kept hitting as he tried to get him off his feet, but then Tyranitar used an earthquake right on Hitmonlee's head, striking him down into the ground as cracks appeared all over the stage. Hitmonlee had fainted from that one hit, which surprised Bruno as he thought that strike was quite powerful. Tyranitar was still pumped up as he flexed his muscles, acting like he was undefeatable. Bruno could only shake his head as he told himself that he has to take down this Pokémon. Even though he was enjoying the battle very much, he still had his duty as an elite four to challenge these trainers.

Next Pokemon he sent out was his Machamp, which was the most trusted Pokémon that's been with him for many years. As soon as Machamp came out, the ground was shaking with every step as he pounded on the floor with all four of his arms. The referee started the match as Machamp started by using focus energy and foresight to boost his abilities and performance. Tyranitar didn't care about waiting as he was permitted to attack whenever he wanted, so he quickly charged towards Machamp to end the battle using an n an an an earthquake.

The ground split up. As Machamp was about to be damaged from the earthquake, he jumped up in the air and used Cross Chop right on Tyranitar's head. Tyranitar felt extreme pain as he tried to hold on. He got even angrier as his devil type powers kicked into overdrive. He now had a dark aura surrounding him as he attempted to punch Machamp back. Machamp quickly dodged it and used Submission putting him in a headlock while trying to tie him. Tyranitar was beyond pissed as he struggled to fight back but eventually passed out fainting from not being able to get enough air. Liam could only shake his head as he knew that once Tyranitar went off on his own, all reasoning with him would be gone.
