10. Arabella. Defense.

Everyone had their assigned seats and desk. But two seats were joined together. Her friend was sitting in front and I had to sit beside her.

They both shared knowing glances at each other and then both glared up at me but I ignore them.

I dropped my book on the desk. Internally I was waiting for a snide comment that I knew would come, I knew for sure. It was just a matter of time.

Rich people are like that they always find a way to degrade you, any little opportunity they get.

"Some people smell awful." She said during the middle of the lecture. I was so engrossed with what the teacher, Mr Femi as I came to know his name was saying that I ignored her.

I wouldn't let her ruin my mood. Unlike her I needed to study to actually make it in life.

"I wonder why the governor will mix goats with human." She added.

The two girls In front laughed at this and Tatiana seemed pleasex with herself.

"Possibly because some humans behave like goats." I replied still facing the board. I didn't want to see her face.

There was quiet after my reply and I smiled.

"So anatomy. Going deep into that we will see the similarity between_"

She held my hands all of a sudden pressing it on the desk. I flinched then quickly coordinated my body posture. I looked up at her and smirked.

"You don't get to Speak when I do." She warned, her eyes dazzling

I chuckled. "Alright you have my attention now." I swiftly pulled her hands away from mine and dropped it by her side. "Girl please grow up. I don't have time for irrelevances. Although I would have really loved to humor you, I just don't have that time." I finished.

She sucked in air and frowned. She was about to say something when Mr Femi stopped her,

"Tatiana if you have a question refer it to me, thier is only one teacher in this class and that teacher happens to be me."

"Yes Sir." She nodded.

I faced front and ignored the daggers that she was shooting at me from the corner of her eyes.

This was exactly what I didn't want. Drama. But I've learnt that drama actually loves me and has decided to follow me wherever I went. Who was I to say no to it.

Tatiana was seething during the whole class and I did not look her way one minute. Even though her vibes were literally forcing me to look.

After class I was the first to leave and they followed behind. She in the middle of two girls. One she had called Courtney and the other Cassandra.

"Hey! You!" She shouted but I didn't stop.

She caught up to me and held my shoulders stopping me from walking further.

I exhaled through my nose and turned to face her.

"What is it? You want to be my friend sorry not interested."

I shook her hands away from mine and turned to leave. She held me back again this time squeezing my wrist.

"You must think that you are some kind of big shot." She mocked. "Queen of your school, winner of Prestine high competition and awardee but in here, all that has no, no importance." She said raising her hands up to form little quotation marks.

"This is the school for the wealthy and you have no place here but you can if you do as I say. Do you know when the rich like the poor? when they obey and bow. There is no other way to fit in."

I burst out laughing at her last words. "Bow? To who? You? Who says I want to fit in Princess? Never you ever stop me to spill such bullshit. Never ever stop me like this again you brat!" I spat.

She moved back a little, scared. Our eyes were locked daring the other to say something bad.

She was about to infact say something when a group of boys passed us and we froze.

They were group of hot boys and they succeeded in making me more tensed. I am still surprised that I didn't just run away from that school.

I have never seen that much cuteness at once before. The sight was very appealing. That level of cuteness was just disturbing to look at. I was amazed loving the sight until the one on the side pushed a boy down.

"You should watch where you are going." He growled. His face was blank, emotionless. He stared down at the boy and walked passed me without even sparing me a glance. Three of the other cute boys followed him behind. None paid me any mind.

"Damien, he just won't stop." A girl whispered behind me. I turned back to see who she was.

"They are all clearly bullies like him." Of course they will be. I thought shaking my head. Boys were never rich, handsome and nice. It was an impossible something for them." I muttered to myself.
