The girl in the portrait stand up and backed away. Leaving the painting empty. The canvass felt gloomy without the girl in it. Only the flowering peach tree on the side can be seen now in the painting.

Not long ago, the girl from inside the painting came back. It smiled at the visitors, before stretching its hand upward. As if it was trying to reach the edge of the painting.

Then with one swift motion, the girl peeled the canvass away revealing a long corridor.

"Come, follow me."

Teacher Nana beckoned her students without any hint of surprise in her voice. From the current looks of it, it seems that she was used to seeing the painting peeling itself.

But Mu Lingxi and her friends cannot be as nonchalant as Teacher Nana was. The group were staring at the portrait with wide eyes from the moment the portrait wink at them until it peeled itself.
