He Who Will Command All

Alaric stared in the open space that was left behind after Ethan grabbed Inian and disappeared.

"no..." he whispered between the echoes of battle. The sounds of monsters and humans fighting resounded around him, but none of them shook him out of his stupor.

Suddenly, a power built up inside of him, as the fury grew within his heart.

"Aaaarrrggghhh!!!" He yelled furiously, knocking back every single human and monster on the battlefield with the force of his yell.

The humans and creatures around him stopped their fighting immediately and looked at Alaric.

Duskhood floated over to Alaric and asked, "is it over? Am I free?"

Alaric took clenched his fists as he looked at the ground in anger. He knew what Ethan did, as he had even considered that once as a possibility of stopping Inian. But the sacrifice it required was far too high.

"Yes, it's over. You are free to go."
