'What did that Jules do? I knew he wasn't to be trusted!' Clara thinks.

All of a sudden, the girls are in a grove of oak trees.

"Where are we?" Katie asks.

"I don't know," Emily answers, looking at the trees.

" We should check for-" Clara starts to respond.

"Hello again, girls," Jules says, appearing in front of them.

"Where are we?" Anna demands.

Jules ignores her.

"You will resume the roles of the characters in my story. You have to finish the story to leave. Bye girls!" Jules says with a flourish and disappears again

Clara turns to the others.

"What just happened?" Clara asks, puzzled.

"I think-" Emily begins.

Abruptly, they disappear again. This time, Clara is alone. She is in a room with white marble walls, a purple four-poster bed, dark wood floors, and a wooden wardrobe.

'Where am I, and where are the others?' thinks Clara, concerned.

Clara looks down at her clothes. She is wearing a short, purple, nightgown with frills.

'What am I wearing?'

Suddenly, Clara hears a knock on her door.

"Come in!" Clara says.

A girl enters the room in a maids outfit.

"Katie?" Clara asks, looking at the girl.

"Clara? You are the princess?" Katie asks, incredulous.

"What do you mean princess?" Clara asks, unsure if she heard Katie correctly.
