Buy Him Out

Feng Xinying was aware that it wouldn't be easy for her to get her rightful position back. She had to coerce him ferociously. She thought that if she would throw some money at him, perhaps he would pick the bait.

"How much will you take to leave the position Xie Yuansheng?" she asked with a vile tone. She knew that he was there for money otherwise why would a person who had absolutely no background in the social circles or in the rich of the society.

Xie Yuansheng narrowed his eyes and glowered at her. She was going out of her limits. "It seems that Miss Feng only knows how to treat people with disrespect. Do you know how many people want me to join their company as their CEO?"

So he wasn't going to be easy… She continued on the same thought, "Well, I have a deal for you. You can join the best company that you've got the offer from and I will also give you a heavy separation package from the company. It will be enough o last your lifetime!"

Xie Yuansheng was so angry that he clenched the coffee mug in his hand to the point that it cracked and the coffee spilled on his pants as the glass pieces shattered on the ground. His hand started bleeding. He looked at her contemptuously.

She was scared at his temper. Perhaps she had crossed her boundary but she had to take her chances. She cringed when she saw that he was bleeding and the blood was trickling down from his hand onto the floor.

Nervously, she got up from the sofa and went near him to tend to his wound. She took his hand in hers and opened it. There was a tiny glass shard stuck inside. She had never seen anyone in so much anger, so she was shaking a little. Xie Yuansheng opened his hand in hers and sank back in his seat.

Pursing her lips and quivering a little, Feng Xinying removed that shard from his hand and removed the scarf she was wearing around her neck to wrap it around his wound. She looked at him with fear. Was he insane?

"Miss Feng, it seems you have only dealt with low character people until now. Never ever say that to me again. I am not the kind of a man who can be bought," said Xie Yuansheng with a menacing voice.

Her fear was replaced by her anger again and she said, "Then what will it take for you to leave the company?"

His secretary came running inside when she heard the glass pieces shattering against the table. It was such a horrible scene with her boss's hand bleeding and wrapped in her scarf while that woman was sitting next to him. No woman could ever muster enough courage to sit near him and here she was taking all the liberties. She felt like slapping her. And how come the CEO's hand was bleeding so much? She ran outside to fetch the medical kit to attend to him.

Xie Yuansheng looked at her from the side of his eyes and said, "I will let you know."

By that time Yun Chen had returned with the medical kit and went near her boss. She sat down on the floor and tried to take his hand in hers. Xie Yuansheng pulled his hand back from her and said, "Let Miss Xinying take care of my hand."

Yun Chen felt a stab of jealousy. She didn't say anything. She nodded and gave the necessary things to Feng Xinying. But Feng Xinying said, "I don't know how to take care of any wound. You should go to the doctor."

Xie Yuansheng narrowed his eyes and replied, "I got this because of you. Now you have to take the responsibility."

"What? I will not take any responsibility!" she countered.

Nervously she started getting up when Yun Chen who was already furious at her said, "Miss, you must attend to our CEO. This is not right. He is bleeding so much. You should have a heart."

Feng Xinying looked at Yun Chen. She was already shaking so much. Nervously she took the antiseptic solution and with the help of cotton wiped his wound. Then gently she applied a medical cream and wrapped it with a bandage.

Xie Yuansheng was looking at her intensely when she was wrapping the bandage. When she had finished, she looked up at him satisfied at her job. "Mr. Xie, you should be careful," she said.

"Yun Chen, please collect the kit and leave," said Xie Yuansheng.

"But sir, you should see a doctor. Should I arrange for the appointment?" she asked looking for a reason to be with him.

Xie Yuansheng looked at her and said, "Do as told."

Yun Chen shrank in fear. She collected the kit and went out, internally fuming at the woman sitting next to her boss.
