Wasted Kisses

Shutting the door to the bathroom, I locked and leaned agaisnt the door as Amy had gone full on psycho since learning I had a secret that meant everything to protect.

Shrugging my shoulders, I still couldn't take my mind off from walking back from the store and to my bedroom where Amy laid bare, butt naked on top of my bed with a few lit candles around... And a whip.

"God... Amy, what the hell happened to my shy, quiet little sister. " Sliding down, I wrapped my arms around my legs as I took some time to reflect on life.

Before long, Mirana had come home from picking up the twins. Never before had I been so greatful to her for simply coming home as Amy greeted them shortly after I came out of the bathroom.

Passing me by, Mirana turned to hang her coat and in that instant, Amy slid her hand from the base of my leg up to my neck. Flinching, Amy puckered her lips as I watched in terror as my little sister had become some animal with lustful instincts.

"Xie... Can we see the little thingy? " Turning my focus from Amy as she walked up the stairs, I looked down to Mili.

"Hmm? "

"The cloud thingy... Can I hold it again? " Looking up to Mirana, I crouched and shook my head as I told him the could thingy had gone home.

Looking down, I turned him around and pushed him towards his brother while I took the opportunity to head out of the house. Walking towards the coat rack, I slid on my coat and headed out.

Halfway out the door, Mirana called my name as I knew what she was trying to get across...

Ever since Kira's shining appearance yesterday, I've been given a temporary grounding. Chuckling as it was stupid to think he could do that to me, I nodded and told Mirana I wouldnt go far.

Walking down the hazy road as a fog had rolled through, I covered my face in my coat. Taking my steps and hearing them echo, the sound of my clothes became prominent in my ears. Not a single other sound from neither nature or man was uttered.

Slightly anxious, I slid my right hand out from my pocket and raised my index finger in preparation of a flash of light just in case. Charging, I closed my hand into a fist and had it set and ready in case of a quick escape.

Walking, and walking, and looking around as everything began to look the same until a slight echo of metal sounded. Sprinting, I couldn't see ahead from my hand and ran close to a kilometer.

Finally, I stopped at a gap between the houses and hid. Waiting, hiding patiently, I felt my own heart beat out of my chest. Shaking like that time with the animal beast, I was more frightened at the fact of the pure silence.

Ominous thought and uneasy breaths, I looked around like a deer in head lights.

Suddenly, I was attacked and was unable to ope n my hand as I was pinned down to the ground. Closing my eyes and unable to scream as the animal covered my mouth, I began to tear up when all of a sudden, I opened my eyes and stared into Amy's as she looked at me with such a shining grin.

"Mmm?! " Letting me go, I sat up and smacked her shoulder repeatedly as she scared the living hell out of me. "What the heck are you doing here?! "

"You left... I came looking. You shouldn't be so cold towards your future wife, Xie. "

"What? L-look! Amy, I'm flattered you, like, like me... But-" Leaning close enough for me to feel her warm breath run down my chest, I stumbled my words as her eyes and face had luminated with a slight glint.

Wondering and astonished, I then hypnotized when she kissed me, some of my light might had rubbed off on her. Staring at her beautiful and fluttering, gentle eyes, I pinched my leg and snapped doubt of her trance.

"Listen Amy, I'm not... Doing this with you. You are my little sister, and that's all it'll ever be... "

"So... We aren't related by blood and you are eonly older by a small amount of time-"

"I'm not doing this with you right now... Its bad enough with mom... With Mirana and now you. I just can't. "

Standing up, I began walking as Amy greeted me with a sideways smile.

"Come on, Xie... You can't seriously think your life is all bad, right? "

Nodding, I looked at Amy as she smiled lightly as if waiting for me to acknowledge she was still someone good in my life.

"If you cut out all the crap with wanting me... I'll acknowledge you are one of the few things I'm my life I can still smile at. "

"Awe... See, was that so har-" Turning to her as I chuckled, Amy had disappeared into he fog.

"Amy... Amy! " Charging my hand, I poured everything I had and shined a bright enough light to luminated the street.

Suddenly, I saw Amy holding into a stop sign with all her might as something had grabbed hold of her and kept her from screaming.

Running, I was mere inches from her hand until her grip slipped. Slowly letting go, I screamed out as she was pulled away.

"Amy! " Being pulled away right infornt of me, I could only see the terrified expression in her eyes as she looked at me with such fear.

Stepping slowly towards her as she went further away, I suddenly fell to my knees.

The cold ground felt much stronger than ever before as my right hand was in sharp pain as releasing the intense light had caused it to burn.

Watching with a helpless face, I blinked when a sudden surge beside me sent the air rushing forward. Turning my gaze to my left, my hair cover my gaze slightly as a strong force of colors rushed in the form of a beautiful girl with a familiar gaze.

It was Mia and her hair had turned into the dark color she had when she saved me in that alley way. Charging towards Amy, her light dimmed into the fog and seconds later, a slicing echo followed with a loud roar rang throughout the neighborhood.

Seconds turned into muntues as the eerie silence had engulfed me in worry.

Walking from out of the fog, Mia held Amy in her arms. Stopping infornt of me, she set her down gently and as I held her, Mia collapsed onto my shoulder. Shiched when I felt the burning heat radiate from Mia, I was overwhelmed as the fog steadily lifted.

Getting a better look at Amy, she was unharmed and just unconscious from the fright. However, Mia was antoher story as some of her injuries from before had reopened. Taking Mia to the hospital while carrying Amy, the doctors quickly took her in.

Waiting beside Amy as I waited to hear from Mia, my eyes fixed on the doctor as he came out and said Mia had passed.

"What... "

"I'm sorry, miss... Your friend sustained new wounds that, just couldn't be fixed with convention means as her body was quite torn up... I'm sorry, however, I will need someone from her family to sign a few documents. "

"What... Mia... No... No! You're lying! There's no way she's g-" Collapsing, I felt my head get suddenly swept with dizziness as I tried to comprehend what I was hearing.

His voice became ever distant as the only thing that went though my mind was pure shock and memories of Mia.

Shaking without restraint, my emotions and tears, as well as my voice had gotten lost when all of a sudden, I snapped back and was in the middle of an unfamiliar room with documents and paperwork infornt of me. Mirana was sitting beside me with a formal dress as we sat across the doctor who tended to Mia.

"What's going on... " Looking at the doctor and Mirana, I glanced down at Miss name on the papers as the words, "funeral" and "deceased " became bold characters through the entire sea of words.

"Thank you, Dr. Hollan. I'll be sure to arrange for her funeral seeing as there is no one else to do it... " Turning to meet her gaze, they stood and thanked each other.

"Can't I see her... " Catching both their attention as I looked at the doctor, he titled his head.

"She's to be cremated later today... Are you sure you want to see her as she is? "

Nodding wihtou so much as batting an eyelash, I was promptly taken to the basement where a room of dull color was luminated by a single drawer of dim light. Walking ahead and touching the cold metal, the doctor opened the drawer and out came a lifeless, covered body.

Looking down as my hands were trembling, the doctor left me alone with Mia's corpse.

Staring at her with a blurry gaze, I wiped my eyes and wept until I couldn't anymore. Lifting the sheet, I held onto her cold hand and collapsed, sobbing it had come to this. Spending time beside her, I didn't flinch when a familiar voice echoed from behind me.

"Was she precious to you... " Hearing Pira's soft voice, I muster the energy to give a single nod.

"Would you like to hear her voice again... " Hesitantly, I turned and met her gentle gaze.

"What are you... " Raising her hand and looking down, she shined a small fox in her hand and smiled as her shining face left into the shadows with a closed smile.

Looking down to my hand, I turned to Mia and stood up.

Holding onto her arm, I closed my eyes and gathered everything I had into my hands. Bursting with cuts and extreme pressure, I gritted my teeth as my own body was being torn apart.

The room itself began to shake as light nd metal alike were being twisted and sparking into complete darkenss. Unable to handle the pressure anymore, I was abruptly launched back and slammed agaisnt the ground with such force, that it knocked the air out of my chest. Gasping for air, I crawled and caught my breath.

Sitting back, I had exhausted myslef to the point where I couldn't move my fingers anymore.

Sitting back, I gritted my teeth and banged my head as what I hoped to happen, didn't. Standing as a dozen people came to the baent after the shock. Passing by without a care, I passed by Mirana and went home on foot.

Waiting in my room, I sat back agaisnt the wall while looking at an empty space on the wall.

Searching through my mind, losing Mia and Rin had made me bitter and unable to cry any more as my tears had a will of their own.

Closing my eyes, I began to drift to sleep when a sudden glow shined from infornt of my eyelids...

"... Xie! " Opening my eyes, my breath was taken without warning as I stared at such a beautiful, angel like goddess floating above the ground while enveloped in a swirling cloud of light.
