I'm Done With Telepaths

May eyed Adrian curiously. He hadn't told her much about Ivy—simply what was necessary when talking about his powers. So why did he get the feeling she knew what was actually going on?

"If you manage to get your accidental enhancement under control will you want to hang out with Ivy again?" she asked.

If someone had asked him that a few months ago he might have said yes but that wasn't the case now. He didn't hold any ill will against either Ivy or Carson. He simply wanted to live his life in peace away from their drama.

He had done a fairly good job putting his life back together after his second run-in with a telepath and didn't want to go back to the way things were. Ivy wasn't the kind of person he normally hung out with anyway. He had been intrigued by her but that was only because she made a move first.
