Carson nearly choked on his Twix.

What?! Since when did anyone else know about superpowers, let alone a neurologist? This guy might be exactly who he was looking for! He couldn't believe Adrian actually remembered what he said that day at the pool and happened to pass his name on.

How did he even meet a neurologist with an interest in superpowers? What sort of crazy coincidence was this?! But Carson wasn't about to look a gift horse in the mouth. He texted Matthew Donohue immediately.

'This is Carson Summers. I would love to collaborate with you. I can't introduce you to my telepath friend but I do have access to all of her brain scans over the course of more than a month and can get any information you need'

His reply was instant. 'Funnily enough, Adrian said the same thing. Brain scans will be helpful but I can't guarantee they will be sufficient. Or that I can actually do anything. That being said, I am eager to try. When can we meet?'
