The climax

Author: Krizzeir

It was really magical to witness an orb inside a human body even if it is simply before your own eyes. You wouldn't even believe these things if you don't see it for yourself.

It was not something that any science could describe. I mean everywhere inside the skull is full of the brain which is said to be made of mostly fat; composed of 40 per cent grey and 60 per cent white matter, which is substantial in structure.

Where in the world do you find a place to store another solid orb in it? And from the looks of it, it was in the middle of the skull cavity too where it was said to be the brain actually the most concentrated! How could you even fit it there?

And as far as he knew it was a literal core aka physical entity. So it was pretty much impossible to be inside the body. But here they were.

Kiel was sure, if his juniors we're here, they would never believe him. And if they actually saw it, either they would be so amazed that would forget how to speak or just treat it as cancerous cells and deem it impossible for the subject to be even standing there, let alone wrestling with a beast!

However, the orbs were real and as magical as they could be. Entirely unlike how they described them in the novels. Well, maybe it was something magical only for biologists. Ordinary people could never understand the impact of such things. Only those who worked their asses in these fields know what it signifies.

But whatever, continuing on… Another few minutes passed. A wind blade suddenly hit the left eye of the beast which was immediately followed by a flaming arrow. From the looks of it, even the beast could not be unaffected when it's vital organs were hit. It howled loudly signifying the pain it suffered just a moment ago.

Seeing the beast injured, the girls ahead suddenly cheered. The left eye of the beast was seriously injured, taking a chunk of its sight away, affecting its combat prowess. Although the progress was minimal, it was still progressing.

The little lady was also good delivering orders at the right moment.

"Yosh! Keep this up! The beast is already at the end of its line. Now that it lost his left eyesight, there will be a blind spot on its left side.

Ruyu! Spread a little to the right and hit it with the flaming arrow again on its right side keeping it's busy for a little longer. Keep hitting it with your maximum power Flaming Arrows Barrage"

"Yes, Milady!" The maid with the fire event spread a little to the right without attracting much attention and still attacking the beast with her flaming arrows. Although she was at the initial stage of the medium level and could not do much to the beast, she could still aim at the most vital parts of the beast and distract it at the right moment buying some time for her Lady.

"And Shina, you spread to the left and activate the level 1 Wind-Rune Bow charm and attack the beast with your maximum magic output. We have to finish the beast in one go!"

If anyone saw the face of the little girl now, they could only see bitterness and determination. However, she could still respond quickly to the ever-changing battle. 'Quite a talent indeed'

"But Milady… the charm?!" Although she was given an order this maid seemed quite hesitant in following it, unlike the previous fiery mage. This one seemed kind and gentle though.

"No buts! We have to hit it at full force without giving it time to retaliate now that it is injured and has a blind spot. Its hide is tough and needs to be hacked open with a stronger force. So we can only use this method. Our energy reserves are also running low. But most importantly, something seems wrong with the beast. So we will finish the beast with a single move to avoid any unforeseen events."

"Yes, Milady!" As if accepting the instructions of the girl the beautiful maids spread to the side with a solemn expression on their face. It was like they were betting their lives on the line, which was quite admirable by itself.

"I will also distract it with my bow. Lia! You stay beside me and activate your acid shield on the other two. And be ready to deliver recovery whenever necessary. So stay alert."

"Yes, Milady!"

"Good! Now that everything is clear. Get to your positions and let us begin."

Only the maid with the water attribute stayed beside the girl, while the other two separated to the left and right slowly without attracting much of the beast's attention. But this Lia maid seemed quite cold on the surface, with a staunch facial contour. But no one could deny her top-grade beauty.

At first, Kiel thought that the little girl was using these beauties as her meat shield. And thinking about it, it was quite a pity for the girls of these standards to die. Each of the three maids had her unique charm. One was fiery like the flame she used, while one seemed gentle and kind like the wind, while the other looked as cold as the water in the mother area! If they were in the modern world, each one would have fans of more than a million.

Although he had a negative impression of the little girl, now it seems it was different than he thought. The little girl seems to be the commander of the team. And a commander should always stay at the back protected by its fleet. Only then can he maximise his usefulness.

And by the looks of the orders of the little girl, although which seemed a little crude, were explicit and precise. She knew after battling so long with the beast, that although it looked tired, it was still talking to them with the same intensity all around. And hence she gave such a command.

The fire lady had already started activating her strongest spell, while the Shina seemed to have blended into the darkness.

Kiel actually had to use his Tranquil Force to see her. In his high-end state, Kie could actually see her holding a charm-paper and about to crush it at any moment.

The water lady now actually created shields all around them, while the princess girl actually took out a bow from a bag on her shoulder and aimed it at the beast with her purple mana arrows.

They were good. But the real fight had just begun.

.

.

.

Although the little princess looked a little naive and haughty, she was indeed a talent.

"Hmm. She seems only ten and can already be so quick-witted. If she works with me, maybe I will get a good general in the future. That means, if I can help her on this one, it would provide me with a better opportunity to interact with her."

Kiel knew that he never gets the full loyalty of someone whom he just met. And if they were already powerful no one would work for him without an ulterior motive. But if he could groom a little girl such as this one, he could get a much better starting point. Helping her than making her his own. It was quite a good plan if thought so.

"Yes, I am getting pumped up."

But Kiel needed a plan. So he squeezed out all the juice in his brain, to think of a solution. However, what he didn't expect was as he concentrated more and more, everything seemed to slow down. He became more and more concentrated and slowly entered the complete Tranquility which he had not used for a little while.

In just a second, thousands of thoughts passed by his mind one by one, from which he quickly filtered out the useless one and picked the solution he was looking for.

Now he was using Tranquil state and Magnetic field sense both at the same time. Although it was highly energy-consuming, he had no other option! He had already visioned his only chance.

However, just as he turned around, he saw something that really made cold sweat appear all over his body.

"Crap. How is this possible? They are actually tricked!"

"Now" the little leader of the iron group cried out.

The pure black now she had in hand, which seemed to match the night, was drawn to a full moon shape, nocked with a similarly black arrow, aimed at the beast. The arrow, however, was not corporeal but made of mana.

"Maybe she is dark attributed!" However, Kiel soon negated the thought as the energy was coming from the bow itself. The mana of the little princess seemed to be colourless. It was the first time Kiel witnessed such a shade of mana. So his interest was piqued. However, now was not the time for such things.

He would ask her plenty after getting his hands on her.

Sou sou sou…

The other maid named Ruyi, who got the signal could not find herself back any longer and let loose her strongest attack!

"HellFire Barrage" As she shouted the spell's name, countless arrows made of yellow flames conjured themselves around her shot themselves to the Black Leopard. The idea was not giving the beast any time to use any strong wind attacks. And even if it is used, the acid shield was enough to act upon some.

Numerous arrows started shooting at the beast continuously, catching it in a rain of arrows, not even wanting to give it enough time to recover.

The beast's eyes again showed panic, like it wanted to run away. So the two girls focused their attacks on the beast even more.

However, this time, the Black Leopard no longer evaded and allowed the arrows to land on its tough hide.

Its huge figure leapt straight up at an open area in the middle of the forest.

Seeing the black leopard swoop down without any care, the little princess let loose the bowstring she had drawn, shouting out with a cold gaze, "Now Shina!"

Weng! The bow trembled violently. The black arrow shot out like lightning, reaching the Black Leopard in an instant.

Even so, the Black Leopard didn't bother to evade at all as well, allowing the black arrow to pierce into its right chest. The two-foot-long arrow was buried into its body almost entirely, and the tough hide around the wound was torn through along to the root by the sharp arrowhead, floating down slowly.

However, it was still not the end as the countless flaming arrows were still falling down on it. The beast seemed to be really wounded this time.

The little girl seemed happy too by the smooth progress of the operation. Now just the finishing blow was needed with the charm to finish off the beast, and they could finally prove themselves.

Everything progressed so fast that it was not enough time for Kiel to process what was happening. So he had to stay in the Tranquil State, as only the Tranquil state was helpful in these scenarios to process even the minute details of war. However his time he could even see the far off distance crystal clear, despite the poor lighting.

"Hmm looks like My Tranquil Force also got upgraded due to my Fake Awakening. First, I could only see everything at a slower frame rate. Now it seems that my senses are also heightened. But I wonder why it was not in the system list?"

{A/N: For those who forgot about Tranquil Force, it is the state Kiel achieved by meditation. It is more like a heightened state of mind, more live overloading the brain for a short period of time. He used Vitalisation and Circulation on his brain instead of the body to achieve such a feat. Although it is called overloading, if it is carried for a short time in which he can handle kt, there are no consequences.}

Kiel didn't believe in the battles fought with brute force over and over just to show your power as specified in this world upon how warriors fight fair and just battles.

He believed in achieving every information on the opponent and then striking him at once and for all with enough force to break their spine and when the opponent could least expect you; not fighting the battle of attrition.

So he was generally impressed by the leadership of the little princess. Kiel even noticed that the wind maid Shina also crushed the charm paper and conjured a corporeal form of a bow. However the moment the bow appeared Kiel could feel a sudden pressure enveloping him from even his hiding place.

However, he noticed that the other didn't show any reaction at all to this pressure.

"Looks like this is the trump card they are relying on! But if I can sense it, the beast can too. After all, beasts are more sensitive to these things! So… crap they are in danger!"

Sorry guys! Was a little busy!

Anyway Happy New Year.

I am never the first! But I vouch to be the last to wish you!!
