Chapter 25: Hulk, I choose you!

As war and chaos took place, the avengers fought an army all on their own. The helicopter that carried Hulk and Hawkeye was also transported to

Krycuropton.

Superman looked around, seeing all the great heroes of his past fighting like mad felt like a dream to him.

Captain throwing around his shield,

Black widow doing her acrobatics and killing giants, she even had a vibranium sword....

Black Panther fighting side by side with Captain, using his claws to rip the throats of enemies.

And then Spiderman... At first he used the gun captain had given him, but he almost accidentally headshot the Captain. Captain would have been dead if it wasn't for him raising his shield as he caught it after a shield throw, and accidentally deflecting the bullet from blowing his head off.

"Sorry" Spiderman said sheepishly. He then dropped the gun and used the sword instead.

And even though his movements were awkward, his spider senses and experience in fighting helped him greatly as he cut heads and limbs. In fact, Spiderman with a sword made him way stronger.

Every now and then the Avengers would be attacked from a Blindspot, and superman would use his laser eyes to help them out.

He was waiting until one of the big guys would start fighting. He really wanted to test his abilities on that doll armour.

In the end, when Laufey second in command died, only then did Laufey join the war as he fought against Thor, and when the destroyer was sent in by Hela, Superman wanted to join but Captain told him to wait, He wanted to send the Hulk.

"Dr. Banner, now is the time for you to get angry!" He shouted towards the helicopter.

Which made all the Avengers look towards the helicopter.

Right now, in the eyes of humans, Hulk and Superman are at the peak of strength. They had only seen Superman and hulk fight. And then hulk disappeared, so in the sight of earthling Superman was superior in that fight. But Superman knew that when he was just 16, he could only equal a full grown hulk, and not dominate it.

Things were different now, even without a yellow sun.

The Avengers still felt a vigilant attentiveness towards hulk as he seemed like a mindless version of Superman.

Yet, Captain asked him to join, trusting in the man he had learnt to know as Bruce Banner.

Seeing how the Avengers seem so vigilant against the helicopters, all the frost Giants turned their sight there, even Hela and Laufey did.

"Captain, you wanted to know my secret, how I managed my anger? Bruce Banner shouted to Captain America.

"This is my secret, I'm always angry!" He said as he threw himself off the helicopter.

Then all of the army, Laufey, Hela and the avengers saw in horror as Bruce Banner fell from the helicopter and... Nothing happened?

"SPLASH" was heard as Bruce banner laid there, with arms and legs bent, like arms and legs don't bend.

"Ermm.. I haven't done this in a while." Bruce banner said awkwardly in his dying breath.

"He's going to fight the destroyer? Hela Laughed out. "Go forth" She said as the war continued

Suddenly a roar shook the place, as a green monstrosity stood up from where Dr. Banner had died. He roared, Looking around, as he saw Superman he got even angrier.

"Dr... Hulk that's the one" Captain Shouted while pointing towards the destroyer.

Hulk found something to release his anger on so he jumped towards the destroyer while shouting "HULK SMASH!"

Hulk smashed the destroyer to the ground, body surfing him 50 meters from his original location.

Hulk stood up thinking he had won, looking towards Captain America he roared "Send Location" as he wanted another fight. Yes, he wanted to fight and show them who the real champion was. He could fight 2-3 or even 4 people in one night. ¹

But he didn't stand for long as a beam of fire shot him towards the sky.

"Focus, he is made of metals even greater than Uru!" Thor shouted.

The Destroyer jumped after the Hulk and continued their fight.

This continued for about an hour, before Hela lost her patience, she then Joined Laufey against Thor.

It was in this moment that Captain finally sent their real secret weapon.

"Superman, You can go help Thor! Captain said, he knew superman would hear without him shouting.

"Can you send Hulk, I want to fight the Destroyer." Superman said. He hadn't gone all out in a long time, and as his strength grew, he had to control it more and more.

He felt that if he sneezed he might destroy part of a town. If he stepped too hard, he might cause earthquakes.

In all honesty, Kevin felt as if he could simply destroy the earth with a punch. So, he really wanted to fight a metallic armour made of something even stronger than Uru.

Looking at the fight between the hulk and destroyer he saw that the hulk was being pushed back, and had burn marks all over his body, but no harm to his skin. Yet, the destroyer seemed fine, no scratches whatsoever.

He was even overpowering a really angry looking Hulk.

"Hulk! Smash him!" Captain America said as he pointed towards the king of giants, Laufey who had given Thor a good fight until now.

"Roaaaar Hulk Smaaaaash" He roared in anger as he couldn't beat the destroyer. Hulk was then punched and thrust towards Thor.

Hela sent a sword towards Thor's ribs, while Thor was fighting Laufey, She missed because a big green thing flew into Thor making both of them bounce a few meters away.

The destroyer was just about to follow the hulk but he was halted.

Superman flew to where Destroyer was, and punched him hard enough to make the frost giants in the vicinity fall down from the shock wave.

The Avengers were still fighting the horde of canon fodder, and the amount of frost Giants were decreasing, but not fast enough as even the Avengers started to feel tired.

Superman punched the destroyer into a nearby mountain completely destroying it. The powerful shock wave reached even The Avengers as they almost lost balance.

Then he flew towards the Destroyer, striking him even further away and doing that continuously until the destroyer and Superman were totally out of sight.

Captain America looked towards their direction in the horizon, slightly worried but he couldn't mind that as he continued to fight.

Occasionally during Superman's attempt to take the fight further away by punching the destroyer, it would counter or dodge his fists and fight back.

And it took a good 10 minutes before superman felt like this was a good place to fight, far away from the rest.

He punched once again, but this time straight down, using his flight so that he punched the destroyer on the helmet, making him go straight down creating a gigantic crater.

This punch had caused earth quakes all over the continent, so powerful that many of the frost giants lost their balance and fell. The avengers used this opportunity to kill even more.

Superman used his x-ray and saw that The destroyer had plunged a few kilometers below the ground. As it tried to swim upwards through the earth.

The destroyer was made by the three skyfathers, as a weapon against the celestials, it was made by a metal that was stronger than Uru, and then further infused with magical powers and divinity from all three skyfathers.

On its own it was stronger than even Hulk at his peak. But when the Destroyer is infused with a soul power controlling it, that's when it really gets dangerous.

Hela felt that the destroyer was being overpowered, though she couldn't see the fight, she felt it through the destroyer. So she infused it with more soul power, to make it stronger.

Superman suddenly saw that the earth in the middle of the crater turned into magma, a great beam of fire flew up from it, pushing Superman away. And then the destroyer came out, and the flames in its eye sockets burned even greater than before.

1. In case you didn't know, there's a champion in UFC, his name is khabib Nurmagomedov. He's from Dagestan, never lost a match nor a round, he never even got seriously injured in a single fight. Just dominated the sport and then when he reached 29-0 at his peak, he retired because his mom asked him to.

The dude is a legend, look him up, because of his broken English he talks and says funny things. This is referencing things he said such as "I want to smash him" "Send Location" after dominating one of his fights he asked for another, fight claiming he could beat multiple opponents in one night. The fun thing is, he was super serious.

Once before he got his chance at championship, during one of his fights, he dragged the opponent towards where Dana white, the owner of UFC sat, and spoke to him while smashing his opponent, saying "Dana, give me belt, You no I deserve this" While smashing his opponent 🤣🤣🤣🤣
