THE LADY OR THE INTERVIEW?

Probably she didn't even call him Sir. Maybe it was more like, 'this stupid arrogant rich kid is not getting an interview with me. He's just a rich kid so what?'

How dare she? Journalists and TV houses would kill to interview him. This was totally out of his comfort zone and this lady, this Queen of Interviews, wants nothing to do with him.

The more Young Xander thought about it, he laughed. He laughed so much that it made Dominic uncomfortable.

This was not the reaction Dominic expected. He has never seen Young Xander laugh. He smiled and smirked when necessary but laughing and that loud?

"What's happening to my boss," he thought.

Before Dominic could process everything, he heard his boss say, " go take care of with Ms.

"Take care of what? The lady or the interview?" he asked in awe.

The disdain look that Young Xander gave him, was enough to return a lion in its cage.

"I'll handle it right away,"

With that, Dominic left the office.

Young Xander stood up and started pacing in his office. He didn't know if he should cry or laugh at this woman's guts. Anyone would kiss his feet and lick his butt his butt if he asked to but Lupe, even without knowing him, did not give him two cents.

"So that's how rejection felt like," Young Xander thought.

He took his phone and called someone.

"Hello,"

"Hello Enrique this is Young Xander. Sorry for calling you this late,"

"Sir Xander?" Enrique asked in shock. He woke up and sat down on his bed

"Why did you call me... I mean how can I help you?" he asked nervously.

"I just got a confirmation that I'll do the interview with Lupe Gus. I just wanted to ask if I could come tomorrow evening at the office to meet Ms. Lupe shortly after working hours. You see, I just don't want to create commotion and unnecessary noise,"

"Brilliant! I'll just talk to Ms. Lupe. It's a good thing she accepted. Honestly, I never thought she would.... I've been asking her to book an interview with you the last past month and she avoided it,"

Young Xander frowned after he heard that Lupe was stalling to interview him. It just confirms that she never wanted to interview him. But why?

"Seems she had a change of heart. It's a good thing she accepted. We agreed that we would the interview in the next two weeks,"

"That soon? Great. Now I can announce it in social media. Is that okay with you sir?"

Young Xander knew that Enrique knew that he was not a social media fanatic. But Young Xander would go against all odds to pin this Lupe Gus. He would tame her.

"Anything you want Sir Enrique. Feel free."

And with that, he had accomplished part A of his plan. He sighed and went back to his desk

"Lupe, Lupe, Lupe, I'd like to see how you get out of this," he smirked.
