Meeting Greenie

It's been a few weeks since the start of the academy, and oh boy has Ms. Yoshina been focusing on me

When we got back the day after me and Shinji became friends, she called me up to talk after setting the other kids up their daily tort - *cough* *cough* training

The 'talk' was really just her giving me various exercises to do, with the devil watching from the side with ample curiosity, studying every push-up, sit-up and breath that I did.

Let me tell you, that was super creepy

And this went on for weeks, with her trying every waking second to find out how I never ran out of stamina. She tried to ask me once or twice as well, but I didn't have a clue either besides having the Senju and Uzumaki bloodlines, and there was no way in hell I was going to tell her about those and get myself even further into Hanzo's radar

I'm taking the first chance I get when I graduate to nope the hell out of this country. Though I was still deciding on where to go.

'Iwa might be a good choice if I ever get the Dust release, though they may force me to become an Iwa shinobi just for that reason. No way in hell am I going to let that happen, I do not want to be tied down by any sort of boss or leadership figure. I had enough of those during school and the Part-time jobs I worked. They all thought they were superior to me just because of their position and that is not something I enjoy. Respect is earned, not given freely.' I thought with disdain

'Kumo may be good for training the storm release if I get that, but again they may force me to become a shinobi just because that bloodline is exclusive to Kumo. Not happening - though the 8 tails may be a prospect worth looking into, though that can happen once I get my chakra control under wraps. I do wish the system had a meter for measuring my current level of control'

And as soon as I said that the system popped up with a message

[Would host like it if I raise the price] It asked with a hint of disdain directed towards me

'nonononono I will buy it!'

I sigh 'There goes that paycheck, System show me my stats please' I thought sadly

But before I could get started on something like the leaf exercise, I saw Greenie finally come up and speak with me

'Its about god damn time' I said with a mental grin stretching across my imaginary face

"H-hey, Uzumaki-San?" She said shakily, while stepping up towards me

"Yes? What can I do for you...?"

"Ah! U-uh Shirogane Nanako.... I would like to ask you something, If I may?" She asked with a little more confidence this time. So she's like a toned down Hinata eh?

"Yeah go ahead, ask away" I said with a reassuring smile

"Ah! Uh, Thank you. I wanted to ask, how did you get so strong when you're so young?" Greenie said with a fair bit of curiosity. Was she interested in researching? Even more reason to have her on my team

"Well, I have been training for a few years now, as soon as I was OK to safely build up muscle. And I happen to have an unusual amount of Yang Chakra for my age from what I've read, so that's most of the reason"

"Yang Chakra?" she asked with even more curiosity in here voice. She was leaning in closer and closer to me after every word

"Yeah Yin and Yang, the Body and the Mind. Yin Chakra gives Imagination form, and Yang breathes life into that form. The cycle of death and life."

"Really? I've never read about this before, I'll have to find what you read." Greenie muttered under her breath "Ah! but back to why I'm here, do you mind if I train with you?" she continued

"Yeah of course! Though Shinji also joins me for my training sessions if you don't mind" I said, raising my eyebrow in question

"Shinji?"

"Brownie"

"Ah! He's kind of scary... but if I can get as strong as you, then I'll do it!" The amount of fire in her eyes when she shouted that looked like a burning inferno, it was kind of scary to be honest....

I told her when we train usually and where, and she said it was fine with her. It seemed she was also an orphan like me, I wonder what her story is?

Anyway, she left after that and I began the Leaf Exercise and smacked a leaf onto my forehead while resuming my thoughts from earlier

'Suna may be a good choice to hide just because of the desert, but again if I ever get their Magnet Release they may try and induct me into the main family, the Kazekage family if I remember correctly? and I don't know anything about them besides the Suna Siblings and Rasa but we are years before any of them are born, and Rasa is probably a little kid by now, so thats out'

'Kiri is just a bad idea in general what with all of the 'Blood Purging' in the future with Yagura as Mizukage, but if I could get the 7 Swords... I'll be sure to stop by just in case'

'Konoha... I was planning to avoid that place but it seems its the only one that will accept me without turning me into either breeding stock or a shinobi just because. That will have to wait though until I'm out of the academy. For now I have to focus on staying out of Hanzo's radar and finding the Ame Trio, that is the whole reason I wanted to be reborn in Ame in the first place' I thought to myself with a mental nod before getting back into focusing on the leaf exercise
