In Her Room Where it Happened 1

"-- my room." Eunica suddenly felt a cold wind that runs shivers through her spine. Her thoughts suddenly blocked her airway making it hard for her to breathe. Her face's temperature raised, 'Gawd, what am I thinking. I just want to hang with him.'

Jin also got embarrassed by the same thought Eunica has. 'Room. Me. Her. Me. Her. Room. ROOM. ME. HER.'

They avoided each other eyes for a moment,

'Dummy, I'm wasting my room-- I mean, time. Yeah, Gosh. Why won't my heart stop racing!' she thought while lightly slapping her face.

"Let's go, Jin," Eunica said in a very faint voice, 'Why do I hear myself like I'm attracting him?' She then used both her hands to slap herself once more before walking.

Jin smiled then followed her,

"So, uh, Jin. Will, they let you go now? I mean, will they stop interrogating you?"

She can't think of any other topic since her mind is full of unnecessary thoughts. Jin is walking behind her so she slowed down to be able to match his steps, making her giggle. 'Aw, we have matching steps.'

Jin's attention was also with their step, he has longer legs so Eunica has to walk a bit faster. 'Aw, kitty. You're so cute.'

"Why don't you want to see me anymore?" Jin then looked straight to their way.

"Ha? No, no. Of course, I want to see you every day." Then she blushed, "I mean, to gather more information. 'Cause I need to report. So I have to see you every day. So I have to report 'cause it's my job."

Jin laughed while looking at Eunica's embarrassed face. She covered her mouth with her sleeves while looking away from him yet she still keeps her pace with Jin.

"Okay, I think they really want to squeeze everything that they want to hear from me."

Eunica looked at him, 'I just noticed this, he's so tall. I'm only around his chest and if I tip-toed,' she didn't notice that she was already tiptoeing but Jin just let her do it because she already did that before.

'I can only reach his shoulders, gad I'm so smol. Wait, I can perfectly hear his heartbeat if I leaned towards him.'

She then blushed while thinking of doing it without realizing that Jin was already standing in front of her door and she walked past from him and her room.

"Angel," he called her out.

Eunica looked behind her and even got curious why he was standing in front of that room until she saw the room number, 'That's my room!'

She ran towards it, then entered. Jin followed her but she later stops him in his tracks,

"Should I leave the door open?" She asks while holding the door.

"I think... not." Jin suddenly closed it with his right hand.

Eunica got surprised, but she then found herself pinned on the wall by Jin. Both his hand were beside her, making her unable to move away from the awkward yet heart-pounding position.

"Uhm, Jin?" She can't look at Jin's face but she can feel his breath brushing against her face.

It gets warmer and warmer every second and her legs are getting weaker and weaker with every breath Jin takes.

"It's just a cockroach," Jin said while showing Eunica the dead cockroach.

"YUCK!" She shouted pushing Jin away, "There, wash your hands in the bathroom." She pointed at the bathroom while fanning her face.

"I'll die of heatstroke with him." She sat on her bed while looking for some junk food in her bag.

While she's busy with looking for food, Jin went out of the bathroom then sat beside her.

At first, Eunica did not realize that she's on her bed with a guy until Jin laid on her bed while waiting for her.

The bag of chips she was holding got crunched when she saw Jin who's eyes are closed.

'He's so hot now, he's so hot.' She thought while squeezing the bag of chips repetitively.

But Jin's right eye suddenly opened while looking at her jolting her.

She threw the bag of chips at his face, "There! Eat that!"

"Haha, you were so into my face aren't you?" Jin sat down, he removed his shoes then puts both his legs on the bed.

'Aw, he feels comfortable with me,' but she suddenly remembered what he said just now, "Hey, you're quite different when we're inside the containment room." The crunching sound from each other's mouth filled the room.

"Hm? Oh, 'cause people are watching and they can't know who you really are especially scientists." Jin then took another bite of the chip.

"Oh, is that so? Because I thought you were innocent and pure kind of person. Like you don't know anything about the world," she's lost in her thoughts.

She remembered other hybrids, and they all acted like that except for that first hybrid she ever encountered with. It was a bit traumatic for her. The others acted like their world only goes around their cage and their base.

"Hm? No. Hybrids were taught about the world. Honestly, if we were to go to school, I think we might be one of the best. We are fast learners, and who said we're innocent.. and pure?" He leaned forward to Eunica, who was still lost in her thoughts while listening to him.

When she noticed that he stopped talking, she looked at him, but to her surprise, his face was only an inch far.

'I need to move backward. No, if I will, I may never be this close to his face anymore.'

Jin smiled, he loved her embarrassed face. She's kinda smiling but is shy and her face is so red, her breathing also increases.

"Haha! You look so weird." Jin laughs while taking another chip, Eunica buried her face in the pillow.

'I hate you, I hate you, I hate you. Gosh, I like you!' she thought while trying to make the pillow eat her face.

"Hey, you're going to make your face be erased if you keep doing that."

Jin tried to pull Eunica's face from the pillow but suddenly she looked at him.

"Have you ever been in love?" Her face was still embarrassed from before and also because of what she asks.

Jin's face blushed a little then he looked at the opposite direction.

"Yeah," he tries to hide the ultimate blush he can ever get.

His heart was pounding crazy, he can't look at Eunica because he might not control himself.

"Oh."

Eunica's reply was too dry. It obviously screams jealousy. She rests her head on the pillow while her knees were supporting it.

"So, who is she?" She looked at him, her face was not red anymore. It was too pale. Her heart suddenly felt tight and painful, it was hard to breathe and it's hard to listen to his answer.

"Someone from before. I saw her here when we were still kids. She's so beautiful, charming and happy and I just want to stay beside her but she left and when she came back she can't remember me."

Even though Jin was not looking at her, she can feel that he's so sad.

'Ah, what a sad love story. Good thing she can't remember her! Ha! Now, you can be mine!' she smiled, 'I'm so bad, he's hurt and... he's going to be mine. God! What's wrong with me?'

She brushed her face against the pillow once again but asks another question.

"Do you want her back? Do you still love her?" She was eager to know the answer, she needs to know.

"Hm, not really. She changed, but I do still love her. Maybe I want the new her, I want to be with her even though she can't remember me."

Jin smiles, knowing that she's jealous of herself.

He remembered how he looked at her the first time they met when they were still young. She looked at him with wonder, excitement, and happiness. She already knew what he was feeling so she helped him feel better just like the first time they met again. She knows he was sad and alone and now, she keeps him happy.
