Mother-daughter time

Damon's pov

I know she is thinking about my mother but was it necessary to point at our contract, i know its only a deal or rather i have put her in this situation but how dare she say she wants to leave as soon as possible. I must be stupid thinking she is becoming mature, she is just as childish as ever urgh!! But why am i so pissed over that whatever she does that has nothing to do with me.

After reaching the company Damon told Alena "I will arrange for your resignation you just sign it and then you are free to go wherever you want".

Alena's pov

Tsk! Wherever i want why don't you say to that prison where i am monitored huh! I am done with his drama i am going home and enjoying the rest of the day with mother. To hell with this demon.

What Alena replied was "Okay".

It took only fifteen minutes to complete the procedure and Damon sent her home in his car but not himself. After reaching home the first thing Alena did was find her mother-in-law.

She was calling "Mother, where are you?" She heard footsteps coming from the garden and saw her mother-in-law was coming from the garden. She asked "Why are you out in the sun mother, you might get a stroke".

Her mother-in-law replied "Aiyaa how can that be dear, its still early for the sun by the way have you forgot something why are you back?"

Alena smiled gently and held her hands before saying "I don't want to work now, i just want to spend my time with you mother". Her mother-in-law's eyes were filled with tears and she hugged her daughter-in-law. She spoke "Fine, lets spend some mother-daughter time.

Alena planned a full day outdoor picnic for them so that she could get more closer to her and understand the real reason behind her situation.
