9. Hidden Village in Forest

End and Sandshrew continue their journey to the Vermilion city to get their third badge.

In the anime Vermilion city gym leader Lt. Surge use an electric type Pokemon, in order to fight electric type pokemon in a gym in the city, he training his pokemon because most of his pokemon are flying type.

When End arrived at a lake, there he rested with his pokemon. In some places he could see some wild pokemon sunbathing or drinking from the lake.

He feels comfortable and fall asleep while his pokemon is here and there playing themself, after that he hear the sound of pokemon.

He sees purple and blue mouse pokemon, he knows this Pokemon is a pokemon pair Nidoran. He saw this pokemon go drink together in lake, Nidoran always shared together until he/she evolved.

'If I will catch them, they are suitable for double fight, and with both of them I can arrange several strategies to win.' thought End.

Then End saw Sandshrew approaching the two Pokemon, the both Pokemon it became frightened when a large sandsrew tried to communicate with them. Sandshrew tried to explain that he was harmless but the effect actually made the two Nidoran attack him with <Poison Sting>.

Nattu and Rat who knew that, they were trying save him and End too was shocked immediately give help to Sandshrew.

End give Sandshrew give first aid.

Pokemon End gets angry because one of his friends was attacked, they know that the Pokemon Sandshrew is friendly, he won't attack first before being attacked. Nattu attacked with <Leaf Storm> and Rattata attack with <Mega Fang>.

End tried to stop the fight, before End spoke in a flash red shadows came out of the underbush, it attack with flame thrower stop the leaf storm attack from Nattu and before Nidoran got a bite Rattata was thrown away with a bite attack.

End seeing pokemon with red stripes colour, he growl with a showing his fangs. Pokemon Fire Growlithe tries to intimidate Rattata Nattu and he managed to intimidate Rattata, he scared and hiding behind Nattu.

Gira comes out from the lake and use <Hydro Pump> on Growlithe.

Growlithe returns an attack with <Heat Wave> and causes a puff of smoke. They glared at each other for intimidating their opponents.

Then a wild Bulbasaur comes out again from bush, he tries to stop the fight among them with his vine. Wild Bulbasaur tries to stop Growlithe from fight and End tries to calm his angry pokemon.

Bulbasaur is angry at Growlithe and asks why is he fighting, Growlithe explained they were dangerous because they attacked Nidorans, while Nattu come explained they attacked Nidoran because their friend was attacked by Nidoran poison.

After knowing what happened, Bulbasaur is angry with Growlithe who attacks without finding out who is wrong and right. Bulbasaur checked the condition of Sandshrew, he gestured for End to follow him.

End entering deeper into the forest, End saw that in several places there were various kinds of traps, perhaps if not guided by the Bulbasaur End would be trapped. He finds the cabin and around it End finds many wandering Pokemon, he also found Growlithe who was standing guard in front of the cabin.

Growlithe goes first to tell that there is a visitor to the cabin owner, then came Melanie the wild pokemon nurse in this forest, End told what happened when Sandshrew was attacked by Nidoran, Melanie apologized to End because they (Pokemon) were easily scared.

Melanie explained that this forest is for pokemon which is thrown away by the owner, also she is nurse treats sick and injured pokemon in this forest.

Growlithe and Bulbasaur are also included, End do not believe Pokemon as strong like Growlithe which fights in balance with Gira is abandoned pokemon.

Melanie tells that Growlithe was dumped by his trainer because he did not obey and unwilling to move when competing.

Melanie said goodbye and continued her work to treat pokemon, especially the Sandshrew who was poisoned. End relaxing on the edge of the lake, he released Nattu and the others to play. While taking a break End also checks the mystery egg given from the system. These egg often shake and increase in every day,

End takes it out and treats it happily because this is the first End to have pokemon from an egg. If you are curious, egg are black and yellow blue.

When the End was cleaning the egg, he saw Growlithe approaching him more precisely approaching the egg.

"Do you want to hold it?" ask End gently to Growlithe.

Growlithe looking at he with suspicious gaze but End was seen smiling not showing strangeness. Growlithe approaches End, he sniff the egg and touches the egg with his paw.

He looks like he likes it, End seems to see it. Pokemon End approaches them they are friendly wolcoming him, it looks like they forgive Growlithe who is attacking them trying to protect another pokemon. End noticed that Growlithe was quite cheerful pokemon, he like Growlithe if he can catch it he will be happy.

"Hey Growlithe do you want to come with me?" Growlithe confused with End.
