The Nine Tails Assault Part 2

Chojusen teleported to Minato's side and noticed he looked a bit fatigued, he said "Don't resist" and used his now improved Yang Transfusion Skill to rapidly return some of his spent vitality. While he couldn't do much about the target's chakra reserves, returning some spent vitality and stamina was not a problem for Chojusen.

Minato didn't "resist" and just let the disembodied voice do whatever it wanted; so long as it didn't attempt to harm him. As he was being healed Minato heard the voice say "I've already stabilized your wife's condition, so now I will help you fight off the masked man. I can only stop him for a couple seconds from moving across dimensions so we're only going to get one chance every couple seconds at stopping him."

Minato was already amazed that the disembodied voice managed to stabilize his wife's condition. When he saw that his stamina had returned he was shocked. And the news that he had a shot at attacking the masked man who kept warping in and out of reality had him floored.

Minato nodded his head and said "Ok, after I finish off the masked man, we'll go after the Nine-Tails."

The masked man was quite a distance away, over a hundred meters, there's no way he could have heard what Chojusen and Minato were discussing. He just looked at Minato for a couple of seconds and rushed at him for another clash. He didn't expect that as he was about to phase through one of Minato's attacks space would once again be frozen.

Ever since the fight began, he had put his guard up against space being frozen, as that was what caused his ambush to fail. But after fighting with Minato for a couple minutes and seeing that space was behaving normally again, he thought that the frozen space was just the effect of one of the multiple barriers that Minato had setup to secure his wife's pregnancy and lowered his guards towards space attacks.

The masked man had said that Minato was once his teacher, so it was reasonable to assume that he knew that Minato did not have good mastery over space, rather he had good mastery with seals. Furthermore, it was countless times more reasonable to think that Minato developed a space sealing barrier than a space locking skill.

Now being caught off guard by the space freezing skill once again, Minato managed to land a critical blow to the masked man in the form of a Rasengan to the face. This caused the man's mask to shatter and reveal his face. Shockingly, Minato recognized the now unmasked man as one of his former students, Obito Uchiha!

"Obito?!" Minato didn't know how to react. Not only was Obito not dead, he became the antithesis of want he wanted before his apparent death. The once cheerful and loving student of his that only wanted to be the village's Hokage, was now the one causing a state of emergency to unfold for that very same village.

Obito was in a near death state, so he didn't respond, he just hatefully looked at his former teacher and said "Be glad that you managed to beat me this time… There won't be a chance for you to retaliate the next time I come."

Now that his identity was revealed, Obito would have a hard time keeping a false identity. Sooner or later, a certain red-haired, rinnegan wielding demigod would realize that he was being manipulated.

As Obito teleported away from the hidden leaf village, Chojusen and Minato faced an odd situation. They were prepared to go and fight the Nine-Tails, but as soon as Obito left, the genjutsu he had used to control the Nine-Tails dissipated and the Nine-Tails regained control of its body.

The Nine-Tails hated humans because they regard it as a mindless monster that just went about bringing calamities wherever it went. Which caused a weird paradox to form. Now that it was finally out a a human vessel and not under the control of a Sharingan user, it found itself in the midst of battle against thousands upon thousands of ninjas.

At the moment things had not reached a serious level, and while it did cause a couple severe injuries among the ninjas that foolishly fought against it, the Nine-Tails, as of the moment it regained control of its body, had yet to actually kill anyone.

Once it was finally in control, it stopped recklessly firing off wind and fire type attacks. The berserkness present in its eyes from when it was being controlled was no longer there, but it still glared hatefully at the humans surrounding itself.

In this odd moment, where the thousands of hidden leaf ninja and the Nine-Tails just stopped and looked at each other, Minato and Chojusen teleported in between the two groups. Minato only realized that the Nine-Tails was no longer in Obito's control after seeing how it stopped attacking his villagers.

From the various talks he had with his wife, he knew that all the Tailed Beasts were actually not demonic monsters from hell and were actually mistreated and weaponized by the militant ninja world. It was quite ironic that the Tailed Beasts were more humane than the humans around them.

Minato looked at the Nine-Tails and said "Nine-Tails, I know that you're not a bad guy, and I know I have no right to request this of you but please, come back to be sealed in one of our villagers."

"Huh? You want me to come back and be sealed again? After centuries of perpetual loneliness and being called a demon and a monster, the moment I gain my freedom from that hell, you want me to go back to that kind of life? Fat chance!" The Nine-Tails roared at Minato. However, since it had the ability to sense emotions, it could tell that Minato didn't have bad intentions towards itself.

"Think about it, if you go back to being unsealed, some other country will just try to capture you and forcefully seal you anyways. Not to be rude, but if I'm honest, while you are extremely powerful, it would only take a group of three Kage level ninjas to subdue you."

The Nine-Tails didn't like this comment, but it knew it was the truth. Minato continued "If you stay here we can show the villagers that you are not a demon fox and you could even be worshiped as a village guardian."

The Nine-Tails was hesitating. It knew that Minato was telling the truth, but just couldn't come to terms with returning to that isolated void it would be placed in once it was sealed.

At this critical moment in "negotiations," the system gave Chojusen a new prompt.

[Bonus Mission: Have the Nine-Tails be sealed in Minato's son, Naruto.]

"I know it's not really the right time to ask, but why do you want the Nine-Tails to be sealed in Naruto?"

[The world's law is asking for it. You could just ignore this bonus mission or even go directly against its wishes, but that would cause the world law to send a tribulation your way.]

Chojusen didn't need anything else from the system to get to work. He moved next to Minato and said "Why don't you seal the Nine-Tails in your newborn son. Not only would that give you more of the Nine-Tails' trust; who would dare to mistreat the fourth hokage's son, he would probably be crowned a hero instead. Your son would also have the chance to be in a mutually symbiotic relationship with the Nine-Tail, he might even be able to work with the Nine-Tails chakra to pull of insane techniques."

Chojusen bullshitted his way through convincing Minato into sealing the Nine-Tails in his son, by giving him very convincing yet unreliable points. Minato thought it over and decided to discuss with Kushina before deciding, so he teleported to her side, and teleported back next to Chojusen in less than a second.

Minato was glad to see that Kushina was in a very stable condition and as he discussed with Kushina the possibility of having the Nine-Tails be sealed in Naruto, Chojusen spent his time increasing the proficiency of his Yang Transfusion Skill, by healing Kushina and some of the surrounding ninja that had been wounded. The fact that he could adapt to healing the gruesome wounds some of these ninjas sustained so quickly, was unsettling even to Chojusen himself.

In the five or so minutes Kushina and Minato discussed what they would do, Chojusen spent his time teleporting around and revitalizing the wounded ninjas. In the end, Kushina begrudgingly decided that she would allow Minato to seal the Nine Tails in their son, but only under the condition that both the Nine-Tails and her son be treated as heroes by the village. The Nine-Tails for complying with the village's ideals, and their son for being a Jinchuriki.

Since Minato and Kushina were discussing their plan in a very blatant manner, literally all the ninjas in attendance and the Nine-Tails heard them. The Nine-Tails put the last shred of its tolerance for humans on display when it agreed to be sealed voluntarily.

Since the sealing was done voluntarily, Minato used an Eight Trigrams Seal and even left the seal in a pseudo open state where the Nine-Tails could choose to leave if it ever wanted. He did this to show the Nine-Tails that he respected its choice of being sealed voluntarily, and would reciprocate that respect through this action. More importantly though, it would allow Naruto to grow up under the constant nourishment of the Nine-Tails chakra.

And so the night of Obito's invasion concluded with no casualties. Now the only problem was that Chojusen had been "missing" when his father returned home to evacuate his family from the Nine-Tails attack. Chojusen was hard pressed to find a way to sneak back after being gone during such a critical time.
