Chang Ming

When Jin Fu returned home, she asked Cai Xiang to find out when a traveling team is leaving to buy the next necessities.

"Young Miss, I don't really know. Anyway, if we tell the village merchant here, the merchant will surely bring the items required by the villagers. Therefore, it is actually no need to travel personally."

"Aunt. Just go find out tomorrow."

Cai Xiang seeing the Young miss being unreasonable just sighed and replied.

"This servant understands."

"Good. Good."

Jin Fu followed her usual routine the next day, starting with morning exercises. During afternoon, she headed to play field instead of sewing because seeing those kids play was way better than sewing dresses which she completed.

Meanwhile at the play field the girl who was bullied yesterday was waiting for the weird girl to arrive. When one of those four boys who bullied, her made a direct eye contact with her, the girl just put her head down. The boy was pleased and did not disturb her thinking that she finally became submissive. In reality, the girl was fuming in rage from inside. She thought that 'when I will get stronger, I will beat the hell out of you.' At that time, she heard another girl from her group talking to her.

"Ming, are you alright?"

The girl who was bullied yesterday, called Chang Ming looked coldly to her group of friends who didn't help her out when she was bullied by the four boys. The group acted as if they didn't know what happened yesterday. She knew the reason because they feared those four boys. Therefore, she replied.

"I'm alright. No need to worry about me."

"Ok then."

The girl who asked Chang Ming did not dabble into this much further and continued the idle chat within her group. Chang Ming did not bother listen to the chat because she was waiting for the weird girl to come today.

Jin Fu arrived after some while and sat at the same place as she sat yesterday. As usual no one paid attention to her. When Chang Ming saw that she arrived she was was excited and wanted to go right away. But after some considerations Chang Ming thought to wait for a while.

After some time, Chang Ming quietly slipped away from the group. No one noticed her her because she was extremely quiet today unlike the previous days where she was the active one. Then Chang Ming walked towards were Jin Fu was sitting.

Jin fu saw the hopeless girl coming towards her who was not able to receive her thing from that shallow water and ignored her. She was still a little speechless about that situation.

Chang Ming arrived next to Jin Fu and introduced herself.

"Hello. My name is Chang Ming."

Jin Fu just looked at her and did not reply. When Chang Ming saw this she continued the conversation.

"What is your name?"

"I'm Jin Fu."

Chang Ming did not notice that Jin Fu was a little annoyed when talking with her. Anyway, she was little kid after all. How can she notice the subtle changes? Chang Ming therefore continued.

"Hey, is it fine if I call you Fu?"

"It's fine."

"Fu, I want to ask you a question."

Jin Fu was surprised at first, but then she didn't mind. Answering a question wouldn't take much of her time.

"Sure. What's the question."

Chang Ming hesitated for a while, then she asked with resolution.

"Fu, are you not afraid of water?"

Jin Fu on the other hand did not expect this kind of question. After some thought she understood and therefore posed her own question.

" Are you perhaps hydrophobic."

Chang Ming, on the other hand, heard Jin Fu reply was confused because she never heard this term before.

"Fu, what do you mean by hydrophobic?"

Jin Fu only then realized her slip off tongue. She had momentarily forgot that she was in a new world. Therefore, she clarified for Chang Ming.

"Hydrophobic means a person who is afraid of water."

Chang Ming understood the term. Then she replied.

"Yes. I'm hydrophobic."

Then Chang Ming hesitated before continuing and saying it cautiously.

"Fu, then all the Empire's people are hydrophobic, right?"

"What do you mean by all Empire's people are hydrophobic?"

"Fu, My mom said that only people from other Empires are not afraid of water. So, are you from a different empire?"

Jin Fu was surprised by this new piece of information. Then Jin Fu thought in her heart about the reason why she has not seen her aunt take bath often. Then Jin Fu replied to her.

"No, Im not from a different nation."

Jin Fu could see that when Chang Ming heard the answer, she was delighted and wanted to know more. Therefore, as obvious she asked.

"Fu, can you teach me how to not be afraid of water?"

When Jin Fu heard this, she was speechless. Jin fu thought how can I teach someone to not be afraid of water.

"Sorry, I don't know how to teach not to be afraid of water."

"Fu, please~ "

Chang Ming kept pestering Jin Fu for two minutes until Jin Fu can handle no longer. Therefore, Jin Fu pointed towards the sky and said.

"What's there at the sky?"

"Where...?"

When Chang Ming turned to ask Jin Fu again, Jin Fu was already nowhere to be seen. Then Chang Ming got angry because she got fooled by her. She promised that she will not leave the matter unless settled.
