He Yongjun looked up at the sky and said calmly, "Don't worry. It's going to be totally dark soon. Then it'll be hard for them to look for us if we hide away, due to low visibility."

"But I heard that the police dogs are really good," said Shen Jiani worriedly as she thought about some military programs that she had seen on TV. 

"Relax. This whole area smells like gunpowder, and the police dogs' noses won't work well here." 

He Yongjun didn't seem to care about the armed police. He was used to hiding everywhere these past few years and had built strong survival skills which made it hard for ordinary people to catch him. 

It looked like the sun was going to be fully set soon and it would be pitch black in the mountains, which would indeed make finding people even harder. 

Besides, He Yongjun was good at traversing mountain roads, so he was going to take Shen Jiani to continue fleeing under the cover of darkness.
